Thank you @gai for making the thread so quickly! :)

A link I found that might be of use to other Coldplayers is a concert seating chart for the Rose Bowl

Oh and I want to pass on a good tip Im sure everyone knows but still it doesn't hurt to repeat: make an account on Ticketmaster and enter your payment details now so you´re ready to go when the pre-sale starts and you don't have to waste time entering info tomorrow :)

I wish we knew in advance what kinds of tickets will be available, so we could already now see which seats/standing/packages we want to go after. I always find it annoying that they release it first when then event opens, so you frantically click and are not sure what to pick!

That's the advantage of being on the West Coast, we should be able to get a good idea of how the Rose Bowl will be set up by how the east coast stadiums are set up. I use those on sales as my dry run.

But we won't know either until tomorrow when the tickets go on sale, right? If we knew that beforehand, before 10 am tomorrow, we would have time to look at the layout for the particular concert and the kinds of ticket available. So far we only know the price range :/

Yay show! Boo Rose Bowl. Now the question is, do they have a GA or seated floor?

I cant imagine a seated floor for a Coldplay concert? You mean where there are seats instead of the standing area? GA...do you know the separate front stage space tickets? I sincerely hope they have that too!

I usually check out the layouts of the east coast shows that go on sale a few hours before the west coast. It gives me a good idea of where the prices breakdowns are and if there's GA or no.

Outside of the VLV tour, Coldplay has had seated floors for the arena shows they've done here. Was on the floor at the Forum in seats.

Oh wow things are surely done differently in the USA! So you are saying all will be seated places for this show? That surely makes it easy to plan which section/numbers to go for beforehand yes!

And I had forgotten that of course the east coast shows will go on sale before the west coast haha Still getting used to the different time zones in the same country LOL

i think i'll join you guys at the rose bowl instead of going to the dallas concert :) never been there, so should be fun!

How cool! It will be my first US show ever, so Im excited :) However I don't want any of you guys to be anywhere close to me during the show, cuz Im a hazard when I dance haha Though I assume most people here will go for front row anyway :D

That probably takes some time to get used to. Heck there are people who are born here who forget.

I'll keep my eye on Ticketmaster to see if they post a seating chart for this show. Just a warning, the Rose Bowl is a pain in the ass to get to. It's situated in an arroyo, and the parking is on a golf course. If you drive in, bring snacks for after because it will take a very, very long time to exit that infernal parking lot.

No problem. I've seen many football games there (Go Trojans), and U2. You can do a shuttle from various parking lots in Pasadena, and the Gold Line station. I drove in for U2, paid through the nose for premium parking which was worth it as I drove right out. My friends tailgated for an hour before even attempting to leave.

I've never taken the Gold Line in, but may do so for this.

I know they do seated floors in the US usually, but they don't usually do stadiums in the US. I can't imagine they'd do stadium shows with seated floors.

Yeah thats what I thought. Rose Bowl is a stadium, so I cant imagine seated floor there, but maybe they do it there? Not sure.

If its GA I hope they have a front stage area separate tickets. Can we reasonably assume the options we will see in the East Coast shows will apply to the West coast as well?

And I cant imagine a stadium show with seated floor, unless its I don't know Bocelli or Celine Dion LOL

You all can fight over GA and floor tickets, I much prefer lower level seating up out of the crowd, take in the whole show.

I agree. But Golden Circle tickets (or reserved front stage) are a bit different in that you are guaranteed the front area, so you don't need to squeeze in front row, you can just stay in the back and enjoy the show, knowing you won't end up at the very end of the stadium.

But if there are only general standing tickets I will also opt for the seats.
