Hmmm...it's interesting. I don't think it's bad, but I'm not sure if I think it's good. It has a very smooth, high production sound to it. I just kind of expected Brandon Flower's solo to be more experimental. I'm just kind of surprised.

I like it... but it just sounds Killers without the band.

I'd probably go to a show just because I've never even been to a Killer's show, so that'd be better than nothing:shrug:.

I think I said this before, but I think the perfect example of a solo project was the two albums Gwen Stefani put out. While I wasn't a big fan of either, and am only a mild fan of no doubt, it accomplished exactly what I think a solo project of a singer in a big band should - it went in an entirely different direction; one that is completely separate from anything that could be done within the confines of her band. That's usually how I evaluate a solo project. If it's the same as something he could have done with the killers, I am left wondering why he didn't just save it for a killers album.

Yeah, I agree with you there. I am hoping there will be another single that sounds different than what you might expect. Or at least the majority of the other songs will.

Oooh I love that album. Something like that would be great. And A Dustland Fairytale has been one of my favorite Killers songs ever since its release. It would be great if Brandon could twist that style around a bit, I'd love to hear it.
