I do think it's either a drawing done by Apple or Moses and it's meant to show daddy playing the piano :)

Cute!

About that drawing, I think I saw it before, I just can't remember where!

Maybe on one of the photos from Paris' blog, hmmmm.

Coldplayers we're tranna trend #WeLoveGuy on twitter please help! =D xoxo

Hi guys! I am so glad I found this forum-love Guy and so glad there are people out there that appreciate him so much!

ok guys- I have a pic which I seem to not be able to find the link to but have it saved on my desktop. I really need you to see it to "identify" if its Guy. I found it looking up the Horseshoe pub b/c I may just visit when I go to see family in London ;)

FWIW there were some people who reported spotting him there, but all the ones I know about were way back when he was still married, so I don't know if he still goes there like he used to. From what people used to say, I think it was a fairly popular place to go in hopes of having a Guy sighting.

Where's your favourite place to go out for a drink?

I usually go down to the Box nightclub on Wednesday nights, which is always a very "interesting" evening. If I want something a bit quieter, my favourite place to go is a pub called The Horseshoe up in Hampstead which has wicked food and a great vibe.

So I guess he still likes the pub but finding him there sounds so unrealistic to me :laugh4: he just seems so busy nowadays

Ya its def an old pic with the longer hair. YES its a long shot but if your in the area it couldn't hurt I suppose lol

I agree it's unrealistic (and IMHO kinda...well...dumb), but it is a fact that people do (or at least they used to), go there in hopes of encountering him. Back in the day there were even a fair few people who claimed they had seen/met him (and Jo) there. Even if you don't meet him (and I personally believe the likelihood that you will approaches impossibility.;)), the pub itself is supposed to have really good food.:)

I might think of visiting it as a 'Coldplay Landmark' but not to track down Guy. If he's out to have a relaxing night, he doesn't need fans approaching him, imo. Obviously he doesn't seem to mind since he's quite vocal about where he hangs out, but I still wouldn't go out of my way to find him.;)

EDIT: Oh, and...

I agree

edit: and wo-ho! :dazzled::lol:

I wouldn't go as far as to say it was dumb, it somehow seems back in the days there would have been a proper chance (as proper as a chance to meet a celebrity can be) But maybe when he's back in London, recording new stuff or something, he pays a visit...

anyway, it's just my fantasies :P there's nothing wrong in chugging down a beer if seeing Guy could be an added bonus

EDIT: and I'll stress it, SEEING, not approaching. Unless there's been one beer too many :laugh4:

It is something of a North London institution, so it's probably worth checking out if you're in the area regardless of any Coldplay related reason.

I think a big part of the reason it used to be so popular among fans is that it was really one of the first readily acceptable public places where one of the band members was known to frequent on a regular basis. Now people have the bakery and whatnot. (Heck even the guys' house locations isn't exactly a secret anymore.:embarrassed:), so if people want to try to catch them somewhere, they have options. Personally, I'd never think of bothering them when they were "off the clock", but people do, and those people have way more information (and better ways of sharing that information) than they used to.

Oh, absolutely no h arm in it at all. And most on here are respectful of the guys' private time. Sometimes it just worries me how accessible they make themselves. But at the same time, I love that they do.:)

(A little background on why I stress this in threads so much: I lived in Athens, GA for a year and a half, and in that time I met all the guys from REM, most of the B-52's and others, but not by stalking them, lol. I saw quite a few serious stalkers pass through town, as well as couple of serious incidents, so I worry about any band putting themselves so much out there. But one beer too many and I'd seriously have to talk myself out of approaching them if I saw them, lol.:))

I guess I should rephrase, when I said dumb, I meant that it's not something that I personally would see any value in doing. I would never go out of my way to go somewhere on the off chance of meeting any celebrity, but that's just me. So let's replace dumb with something a bit less strong, like frivolous, or perhaps silly.:)

The B-52's have serious stalkers? (Sorry, I know I shouldn't make light of a serious issue, but I'm having a funny mental image with the idea that someone is an intense enough B-52's fan to stalk them-especially this far past the 80's)

Haha, I'm sure they do, but it was Michael Stipe that ran afoul of a couple of real trouble makers. His house isn't hard to find, and nor was their practice space or their head office. Kim Bassinger also lived there part-time and had a couple of stalkers. So I have a bit of an over-protective streak about our boys.

But don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing anyone, and if in London, I'd love do visit the landmarks too.:D

^You beat me to posting it,lol.

Yeah, it's kind of sad that even bands that want to be low key and not shut themselves off from the world really don't have that luxury a lot of the time, and yet if they gate off their houses and offices, and take steps to protect themselves, they get slammed for being elitists-you just can't win sometimes.:\

I'm sure Michael Stipe has more issues than most though as he's both a celebrity and has become something of an important figure in LGBT related issues, which attracts a whole other breed of people who would want to harm/harass him.
