It was amazing!! Such a great gig, I can't even fall asleep! :lol: after the concert I got to meet the band and talk with them, they're such a good guys! I'll show you some pics after I sleep a bit ;)

Keane is one of the bands I need to see live before I die.

 

Are they good live?

^ They are great live, I saw them for the first time last week. :D really fun and interact with the crowd.

I saw there was a group of people at the entrance and I thought that they were waiting for someone to pick them up, like a bus or something, but then I saw the tour buses and I decided to wait a bit (we waited like 40 minutes :lol:) The guys stayed with us like for half an hour though, so it was absolutely worth it!

Oh wow! I had this feeling that they would be somewhere nearby but we had to leave. :\

sooo where do I start? ok i know, the Beacon Theater is the most gorgeous gaudy venue i have ever been too. Im tellin ya, if you go to one theater in NYC go there, i know i yada yada yada bout MSG and Radio City but this is the whole package. First of all, every seat on the floor is like orchestra seating , we had 5th row and it freaking rocked.

So the boys come on and it's magical, I love their non fussy, simple gorgeous stage. we had the time of our lives,there were some newbies there casue no one was dancing like Noelia and I were at Spiraling. there were alot of date people there and the cutest gay couple were in front row who were die hard fans who gave the band some flowers, it was so cute, the audience were so in love with the band and there was a moment after i think was the 3rd song , not sure where we just kept clapping and singing after one of the songs ended and we would not stop, it was like this huge wave of love just kept coming to the stage and the band were so taken back, it was a moment i will never forget , there has to be a video, i only took a few. i wanted to really enjoy the show and not worry bout vids. They played for 2 hours and it was so lovely. here are some vids and pics

Cool pics juanif! I've seen them play 3 times this year so far, and met them at all those gigs. They're incredibly nice guys, who take the time for their fans when they can. Many bands could learn from that...

I have a boatload of pictures (and videos) from the gig in Philadelphia at the Merriam Theater (which is a great venue, by the way). I was in the 23rd row, though. :lol:

 

The boys weren't too energetic that night, and Tom didn't seem to be bantering very much. (then again, how much does he banter, anyway?) I have a feeling that they were a bit down due to the Radiohead stage collapse earlier that day. :\

 

Well, at least we got Atlantic during the encore. :dazzled:
