March 8, 200917 yr i guess if she had got the baby right after her grammy perfomance, everybody would have named their children "swagger". :D
March 9, 200917 yr Jermajesty Jackson is probably my favorite celeb-weirdo name. I laugh every time I hear it.
March 9, 200917 yr Why didnt she mention Moon Unit or Dweezil Zappa as examples either?????:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: Also, thank God that Zowie Bowie got to change his name later to Duncan Jones!!!!!:D:D
March 9, 200917 yr Also what about Fifi Trixabelle, Peaches and Pixi Geldof????? And then Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence????? :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:
March 9, 200917 yr Ooooh I was going to mention that one (Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence). That one's just silly.
March 9, 200917 yr Apple is not a weird name really, at least for me, because in Hungary there is a name "Alma" which means Apple.
March 10, 200917 yr Alma means soul in spanish, but it's also a name, so I guess the name you have/give depends on why you/they picked it and what means to you.
March 10, 200917 yr Wow I just caught this thread, petty bickering going on. I feel if their are people who want to start certain threads they should be allowed, this is a free society, free speech, and there was nothing innapropriate to these posts, except for the bashing ones. These pics have already been publicly posted elsewhere, so they have been cut and pasted here and lovingly been talked about. I enjoy seeing pics posted here, and other threads, then I can be lazy and not have to search for them elsewhere myself:) Seriously, if the mods thought this was inapropriate they would shut it down, it's harmless people, and all I can say is if there is a title of a thread you find annoying or inapropriate you have the freedom to stay away from it, just don't click on the thread if you don't like it, plain and simple.
March 10, 200917 yr I think "Alma" means apple only in Hungarian. The other Almas' name - who are not Hungarian - means something else.:)Our language is quite individual.:) Anyway, as you can see now, Apple exists as a name in other countries. There are a lot more weird names for foreigners in Hungary, e.g. "Farkas" which means wolf and "Tünde" which is elf in English.Compering apple - which is just a fruit - to these, Apple isn't that weird.
March 10, 200917 yr Author i think wolf is a nice name, there's already the name wolfgang which is very known (Mozart). Hungarian sounds interesting. Alma in spanish means Soul. and i know some spanish people who have that name, although is very rarely used, always as a female name.... i know that some males have that name in USA
March 11, 200917 yr I had a dream last night where I was called Alma because of this thread Alma and Harry Potter in luuuurve, what the hell is my brain on
March 15, 200917 yr Read what people think about Gwyn and apple.......... I'm so pissed :veryangry2: http://justjared.buzznet.com/2009/02/23/gwyneth-paltrows-apple-of-her-eye/
March 15, 200917 yr ^^ ppl always hate on Gwyn and Apple and its annoying....i really think Apple is cute and Moses is precious! :)
September 29, 200916 yr Ok.. don't mean to cause a stir like last time by bumping a thread which most people apparently find offensive because of the name.. buuut.. I wanted to know.. is this Apple? It's a picture from the Milan Fashion Week and that girl on the right just caught my eye cos she looks so much like Apple. Isn't it her?
September 29, 200916 yr Author looks like her, but taking into accoun that thankfully we had not seen a recent pic of her ... could be another girl... do we know if Gwyn attended that event?
September 29, 200916 yr looks like her, but taking into accoun that thankfully we had not seen a recent pic of her ... could be another girl... do we know if Gwyn attended that event? True, but look what I just found FRONT ROW AT MILAN FASHION WEEK The future's bright: Gwyneth Paltrow sizzled in her beautiful ruffled orange dress as she took on the cobbled streets in Milan. The actress has been enjoying Milan Fashion Week - and wowing the city's citizens while she's at it. We're loving the patent tote and maroon manicure, too. http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/fashionweek/photos/7984/1/3/front-row-at-milan-fashion-week.html
September 29, 200916 yr I don't think it is, looks a tad too old to be Apple, plus the hair is too short. Also I think that pic of Gwyn is from last years Milan Fashion week.

But look at the woman in the black dress standing right next to the little girl...it's only a part of her, but it kind of looks like G.
