Hi newbie to forum but not to coldplay, just wanted to see if theres anyone else out there like me.... I find myself, despite having had rush of blood to the head for 18 months now I'm listening to it more and more and never ever getting bored with it, so much so now that coldplay are getting to be about the only band I bother listning to and I used to have a very wide taste in music. I dunno what it is but just lately no matter how much I hear a Coldplay song it seems to render most other music useless as its on a level far above most stuff where I actually relate to it Anyone else in this coldplay bubble? I went to the link but it had been pulled down. I think i am a bit behind with the times but what's going on?! i made a cd of coldplay songs that were soft and slow. the first song is warning sign. the second is AROBTTH. so many times this summer i listened to this cd at night because whenever i went to bed i was never tired and listening to slow soft music seems to help. and i think every time i put it on and listened to those two songs in a row i fell asleep before the third song started. it happend last night. and a bunch of other nights. it's really strange because often have trouble falling asleep.

she asked me this and i'm like NO! she keeps asking me questions like, do you think they're good looking? if you had a boyfriend would you want him to look like them? now i'm thinking... well i'm 13 and they're in their mid-twenties... not that i don't agree that they're good looking. ;) but i won't say that to her.

I think Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay should team up for a fundraiser concert or something of the sort. They both have a lot in common, and they are both worried about the enviroment. Does anyone else think Dave Matthews and Chris Martin's voices are slightly similar?

i love it! it sounds so good! i think the two best songs backwards are clocks and the scientist. they sound so good! i really don't know why i like it so much!

For all you British people: the NME website says that in tomorrows issue 'Chris Martin exclusively talks about the band's future'. I didn't know whether to post this or not because it could be only a small interview (he's not on the cover or anything) on the otherhand it could be a big interview. Hmmm I guess we'll see. I hope it's good news!!!!!! :confused: :/

On the VH1 Top 20 Countdown this week, the host was saying something about Chris mentioning at the V Festival that their performance there marked "the end of soft rock". What does that mean? Will their next album be less spacy, for lack of a better word, than Parachutes or even AROBTTH? I'm terribly excited about it, though. They'd still be great even if they went into death metal. :lol:
