I searched for a Bush thread and there wasn't one. There isn't a lot of activity at the fan community either. I get to see Gavin Rossdale in a week and I'm excited. I have his solo album and all the Bush albums. I couldn't get the Institute album and I wasn't able to download it either. I liked the 5 Institute tracks that I was able to preview. I love everything he does. He's one of my favorite vocalists right up there with Chris and Bono. "Machinehead" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I could listen to it all day. Do any of you listen to Gavin Rossdale, Bush or the Institute? Are any of you planning to see Gavin on his 2009 tour?

We Eat Babies (so fuck off)? If that counts as metal, not just noise. I could say Anal Cunt but they are so bad it's complete genius really. I DIDN'T START THIS THREAD, THE THREADMAKER DELETED THIS FIRST POST FOR SOME REASON.

I know this might turn into a "oh man, that person is so cool, they own 50000 cds!" But I'm just curious how big of a cd collection most people on here have and how long they've been buying cds. Only physical formats count (cds, vinyl, singles, etc).

Hello! This is a new-ish artist that I am in musical love with right now. I got his album a couple weeks ago and have been listening to it alot since. You can hear some of his stuff here http://www.markhole.com and also here: http://www.myspace.com/markhole He's not on youtube or anything so can't post any links for that yet. Can't embed anything. Anyway, just have a wee look on those pages or on itunes :D Have fun!

Fellow Coldplayers, It's been a couple of months since our last musical mystery tour... let's beat the winter blues with another round of the Mixtape Exchange... If you enjoy discovering new artists and sharing your own tastes with total strangers, this is the project for you! Twisted Wheel's music is full of the kind of enthused energy that is lacking in so much of today's music. Think punk like early Clash & The Jam; and 1960's teenage angst of The Kinks and The Who. The vocal delivery suggests Steve Marriott and Paul Weller, and on the most explosive tracks such as the live favourite Lucy The Castle and Oh What Have You Done, the post-punk aggression of Jimmy Pursey (Sham 69) and Mensi of the Angelic Upstarts (remember them?). While on Strife Oldham-born singer/guitarist Jonny Brown's vocal delivery is more akin to other contemporary groups like The Arctic Monkeys and The View. But aside from all these references, Twisted Wheel is a youn…

I'm not expecting anyone to reply to this thread cuz I know no one's heard of this group. I'm putting in a plug for them here. It's my friend's band. He's talented, gorgeous and extremely nice. In other words, he's a triple threat. ;) The band is Firestorm. Enjoy: http://www.firestorm-band.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGW_QzxwvtY&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Efirestorm%2Dband%2Ecom%2F%3Fpage%5Fid%3D21&feature=player_embedded

You know you are obsessed with Radiohead When: -Everytime you type any word that starts with "Radio", you type in "head" right afterwards -You check Dead Air Space first thing when you wake up to look for any band updates -The refresh button is your friend when it comes to getting the latest updates on setlists, or tickets going on sale -When you hear the word crash, you automatically think of atease -You begin to quote radiohead lines/songs during conversions or posts -You get very annoyed when people spell Thom's name Tom, or Jonny's name Johnny feel free to add your own ones

Have anyone of you ever heard of the german Peter Fox? He's quite popular in Germany and is making great music, I think. I don't know if it sounds as good as it sounds when you understand the lyrics, so what's your opinion? [ame= ] [/ame] [ame= ] [/ame]
