We once had at the bottom of the forum main page Today's birthdays feed which showed whose birthday is today. We lost that a while ago. Can we bring this back please? It was nice to know who is having his/her birthday so that we can send them greetings :)

There are just so many spams keep flowing on the forum, and for the past few years back I dont think it happened that much. Is there any way to automatically deleting them without actually sending reports? They are getting so annoying now.

It gets confusing & a bit annoying to find more than one thread containing the same topic or question. Recently I have seen more than one thread about the new Coldplay/ Cat Power song, threads about the upcoming 2015 album rumor, & threads about clothes or shoes Chris has been wearing. It makes the forums look messy in a way. Ever since Tash has left this place & no one of the moderators seems to care about this issue :( Please start merging similar/ identical threads together again, Thanks.

I remember when I joined Coldplaying almost a decade ago, there was this moodswings (or whatever you call it) appearing on everybody's user profile, like happy, sad, strawberry swing, etc. Also, I'm just wondering if I could check the users who give given and received thankyous. I know it's not that important, but it's just some minor elements that I thought can be added for coldplaying users to get more interactive with the forum. :) Just my thoughts though.

Does it have to be via a youtube link, is there a way to upload it straight from my computer? I want to upload my own Coldplay video :-)

As there are a few asking, the mega thread was eaten up by the forums yesterday (probably because it was taking 70% of its bandwidth haha!). We had a look to try and retrieve it as it was still showing up on chatbox evo and posts + thumbs were still counting on everyone's profile then a few hours later the postcount (which was a lot for me and hundreds for some!) had disapeared so yeah, no chance to retrieve it, a shame! The classic thread will live in our memories, i'm sure! What's up with the servers? There are less than 2000 people online and yet the forum keeps crashing over and over again. The only thing that happened when there were 6000 users online was that the forum was a bit slower.

I am not uptodate with whatever happens in the site, but I noticed the disappearence of the very active member & forum moderator Tash. I just saw the list for the moderators & she is not included anymore :confused: She is really a great asset to this forum & a very valuable member. Can anyone explain what has happened to her? I would hate for this to be due to a disagreement between the new site owner & herself, but I would hate it more if I found out that her disappearence was because of personal problems. I really hope she returns soon. Marc (Sparky), if you can get her back, I will be very grateful.

Just a few months ago we were worried of losing this place. Worried that if it was revived we wouldn't have the magic (pun intended) that we once had. Worried that the new owner would ruin this place. So this post is for Sparky! Thanks for doing a great job so far!

Not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but when using Quick Reply it tends to ignore all the paragraphs I put in and string things together in one massive line, meaning I have to go back in and edit it in Advanced. Pls, Quick Reply deserves better than this.

Since yesterday it's there, nicely covering my notifications and the log in field. So right now I have to enable AdBlock every time I want to log in :uhoh: (I disable it again afterwards because I know this site needs those ads) I don't know if this is a forum issue or just something with Google but it's rather annoying :lol:

As we all know the future for this website is unknown with it possibly being closed (again) Like myself many of us care about this site and don't want to see it go, it is like a home to us. So what can we do as users to save this site?
