As you all know, I'm very enthusiastic about getting to 1,000 posts. It's been my goal since I started posting here back in January 08. Originally, my goal was to get to 1,000 by the end of the year, but I might reach 2,000 by then. I also promised to get everyone here ice cream if I accomplished this goal (think Live 03, Yellow). Any one know any goods organizations that do volunteer work? I'm researching them online but I'm worried its not a legit site. I'm looking for something in Europe or Africa. So far all the groups im finding make you pay for most the things, so I'm trying to find something cheap.

So, let me start with explaining our school system a bit. Once you're 14/15, you go to a high school. Ok so I just was leaning on my left arm while surfing the net while on my stomach on my sofa. Then my arm went numb. Fell asleep. Pins and needles. My American Lit./Writing teacher is SUCH a fucking asshole! We had an assignment where we had to explicate a poem and use different color pens and symbols to outline different poetic elements and such, and my poem didn't have any sort of rhyme scheme or sound devices, so I noted that at the bottom of the poem. Well, I got my paper back, and there's tons of marks saying "-2 rhyme scheme, -2 slant rhymes, -2 visual rhymes, -2 alliteration" etc etc and I got a ZERO on the assignment.
