Channel 4 [uK] is to devote a week in August to shows examining outrageous comedy. I for one, can't wait. I know that none of it will offend me. Here is what is on offer Comedy has a long tradition of causing offence. Are you bothered by comedy close to the bone?

It's like...you know what you're about to say cannot be for good, and it'll probably be the beggining of a fight or nasty conversation that can't end well either, but I can't help it. Friday night I was sitting in front of the computer and my mom asked me something (can't remember what it was) that turned the switch on. I was looking for a chance to get something out of my chest, though I was sure that she'd freak out and give me a half and hour talk and I would be endangering my night out with friends...but I did it anyway. And as I predicted, it was a half an hour talk that included the lines 'I want you out' 'you have to change' and 'you're not going out tomorrow' as us…

Gah, sometimes this happens to me and its so sickening. Its like having a sunny day that suddenly turns rainy, and then its snowing, then theres thunder, suddenly its spring and the birds are singing, its rainy and then sunny again, basically you get confused as hell! Today may be one of those days for me, its so annoying. I think my mood has changed 3 or 4 times in the past 20 minutes, I was revising here, feeling ok, then I suddenly turn to being self-deprecating and wondering why I bother, and then out of nowhere I just switch the TV on and I felt happy, and now I think I'm back to being a bit above ok right now. I mean WTF?!!! :shocked2:

I was browsing the official forum, and I noticed that somebody had the username "=make.trade.fair=" I was like 'hmm...that's similar to my coldplaying one! what a coincidence!'. Thus I clicked on them to view their profile. AND THEY HAVE THE SAME QUOTATION IN THEIR SIGNATURE AS I DO! Not that I'm mad for copying or anything, but I just find that reaaaaally weird that someone who I don't even know is almost posing as me. unless it was a complete coincidence of username AND signature quotation which I doubt.

well, what makes a person ugly? are we all that shallow? what does an ugly person look like? a person is ugly in my eyes ... when their character is just horrible. so ... i might know loadsa ugly people that may look beautiful, but on the inside .... they're not pretty at all who gives us the right to judge other people by their looks though?

  11. So when people are posting on here, can you tell their mood at the time? Its quite difficult with most people on here, seeing as its hard to decipher between a happy Bob saying "How are you? " and a suicidal Bob saying "How are you? ;) ". I think I make it pretty obvious. I'm always expressing myself honestly and people sometimes PM me or when I'm on MSN, ask me whats wrong with my head today. Its pretty clear when I'm a bit pissed off. Right now Ive just woken up and I dont feel like being super sunshine happy, I'm not actually sad or angry, just in a bit of a mood, probably until I go meet some people.

There are a lot of threads in this vein, but basically I just want to ask a question. I am 14 years old. For those on here who know me, even those who have just read an occasional post of mine, would you say I am a immature? It's very confusing, I am probably almost the youngest person on here, yet, I believe, that compared to some people, a lot older than me, I am more mature. That may seem very "stuck-up", but I think it is true. This is not saying everyone is immature, or aimed at any one person. (Although, I can think of one main one.) It is just strange.

Judging by the fact I've had 4 threads closed in the space of 5 minutes!(new record?), I'm gonna put a question to the public. Should I stay or should I go? If the majority vote is for me to leave, I'll leave this forum tonight and never return. So, do vote.

It's nine o'clock on a Saturday The regular crowd shuffles in There's an old man sitting next to me Makin' love to his tonic and gin He says, "Son, can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete When I wore a younger man's clothes" Sing us a song, you're the piano man Sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a melody And you've got us feelin' alright Now John at the bar is a friend of mine He gets me my drinks for free And he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke But there's someplace that he'd rather be He says, "Bill, I believe this is killing me." As the smile ran…

  24. Okay, Selleck doesn't wanna go....not yet. So, making the previous poll completely useless, lets start again. If 'The Legend of Tom Selleck' agrees to stop hunting down Radiohead fans, stop abusing people, and stop starting a load of threads, do you want him to stay? Tom Selleck cannot agree to not speaking his mind...but he shall do so without personal insults. Tom Selleck also reserves the right to slag off Nirvana, Green Day, and Thom Yorke(but not Thom Yorke fans). So, at 12 tonight, whatever the result, the decision is final. So, get voting.

Well.....yeah I like it......going down the street and people passing by...and they say "Hi Julia"...even if I'm not that close with them....maybe neighbours....or other people from my village...I think only people who live in a village can understand this now because in big cities it doesn't happen.... I mean.....I like it if people say "Hi Julia" and not just "Hi"...maybe it sounds weird...but it is true...this is more personal for me....for me it shows that people here know me....that I'm not just "the girl from street xy".... Yeah...I like it....especially when I am at my newspaperround...
