Anyone has interest in Philosophy? I'm not sure if I'm interested with it, but I think Philosophy books are good to read. Actually I just want to write about Immanuel Kant. He's one of the most famous German philosophers. My professor keeps on saying Kant repetitively and I always mistakenly think it's c*nt. :disappointed: And he always uses it as he means c*nt. :uhoh: "Freud's view is very different to Kant's. Let's discuss as we're them. I want you to be Freud and you're Kant," :freak: "To conclude this discussion, do you agree with Kant?" "Yes," "Alright. That's Kant," Okay. :|

... I'll make a thread about it. I feel so left out these days, I tend to stay in my room alone. I don't know why but it seems like my recent days are not good as they were before. I miss laughing, joking and talking randomly with my friends, but I found that the bond is keep on loosing. I'm not sure what is going on exactly though, but I try to not to blame it on others. We don't really have interests in common. As they love movies and games, I hate both with my soul. I'm not sure if listening to a lot of music (and maybe being obsessed with it) bothers people, and what makes thing worse is as if I live a boring life. I already lived on this earth fo…

do any of you try to interpret your dreams? i have seen people do it countless times, and every time i told my grandma what i dreamed about she'd come up with something to explain what it could mean: i have lived in a very religious community all my life and everyone believes they should figure out what their dream could mean, according to the priests and nuns at school god sends us messages sometimes in our sleep and a few things happened that made believe just that, like the time a few years ago when my mom dreamed that our neighbor was offering her raw meat that her husband Tony brought but in the dream my mom didn't accept them, the next morning, while driving out of t…

The autumn months are upon us, fastly becoming the winter, and little left leg is getting cold because all of his jackets are no good. I need suggestions/links to completely sound jackets, to keep me warm, but also keep my completely stylish reputation intact. I am but a slight fellow, keep that in mind. In other news, I've parted my hair on the opposite side and i now feel like I'm using that side of the body more, who knows, perhaps even the brain? Oooo.

What the winds bring they bring My heart is still hard, cold, frozen I tumble and fall People rush by me Stampeding Trampling Kicking Laughing Cursing Spitting Crying I lie there It seems fitting for the moment The sky a pretty grey Rain falls Freezing as it hits With every blink of my eye Life seems to get taken down a notch A child stops over me and lets a pink rose glide out of her tiny, beautiful hands Smiles as the rose gently rests on my breasts Her mother concerned about the looks of the others pulls the child along My blinking is longer Life gets slower Slower almost stopping I feel my hair fall nicely along my face and the raindrops pet it…

Just because you feel sorry for them? Or do you think you are too cool for losers? Or is it just that you are a loser yourself and that's why you only befriend other losers anyways or people who are no losers, who befriend losers, because they feel sorry for them (you)? I think I certainly don't. why shall I make friends with somebody I don't like? I'm not a loser (I used to be), I'm not too cool for anyone (well, yeah I am haha:freak:) and I don't want to befriend people I feel sorry for just because I feel sorry for them.

Solved at last: The mystery of why other people's phone conversations are so annoying By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 8:23 AM on 23rd September 2010 Comments (31) Add to My Stories One-way traffic: Overhearing one side of a conversation is more distracting (file picture) It can reduce even the most mild-mannered commuter to a fuming, seething wreck. But when the passenger next to you on the bus or train is chatting on their mobile phone, it seems you have good reason to be infuriated. Scientists have discovered listening to only half of a conversation affects concentration far more than hearing both sides. A study in …

Recently a local family lost their house and all their possessions in a fire, and it got me thinking about what I would save if it ever happened to me. So, after all people and pets are safe, what 5 items would you grab before they went up in flames? I don't really have anything that's worth all that much, or anything of great sentimental value; so for me: 1. Photos 2. Videos of my kids 3. Hard drive 4. Guy Berryman's autograph 5. Mobile phone - because it's a bitch to lose all your contacts!

which one would you choose? This thought just came from a random part of my mind: What's worse: A good friend/your loved one who is angry at you? or A friend/your loved one who is disapointed, because of you Spontaneously I'd say disapointment is worse than anger, although disappointement can cause anger of course. But disappointment may last longer. You won't forget it easily if someone who means a lot to you has hurt your feelings by disappointing you, because disappointment seems to happen if someone you trust proves you wrong.I think anger doesnt last that long. Anger is some kind of sudden reaction whereas disappointment might come from much deeper... …

I spent a good part of last sunday night discussing Simon Pegg with some of the ladies on the Coldpay forum. Turns out most of us find him quite sexy - previously I thought I was the only one! That gave me the idea for a new thread: Confess your weird Celebrity Crush. Everybody has one - that celeb who's kinda funny-looking and not your usual tyoe, but you get "those feelings" about them anyway... :embarassed: So get it out in the open, boys & girls, you'll feel better for it. I'll start: 1) Simon Pegg (as I've already said) and 2) Phil from "Location, Location, Location" (sorry, that one only works for the Brits among you) Over to you.................…

I'm trying to save up enough to take a mini-vacation in December for a few days to get away and go up north where it'll be cooler. I was looking at train tickets because I've always wanted to take a train across the country. I hear trains can be a lot of fun and an adventure. Option 1- It's about 240 for a round-trip train ticket to New York City, however hotels there are extremely expensive..cheapest I saw was 170 for a 3 star. So I'd only afford to stay one night and go back. But I've never been to NY and always wanted to go. Option 2-Go to Boston for about the same prices as round-trip to NY. Hotels seem to be cheaper there. I've always wanted to visit Boston. …
