Amazing Film. Me Love!!!:D

Zodiac 5.5/10

I hate the ending. I think Im abit harsh but my friend recommended it. He said its really good, and so my expectations were high. I said it was dragging, too long, but he said "But its a true story",:dozey: What the Hell???!!!, that dont make it good though

i'm not there: i've only watched half, but so far 7/10.

incredibly complicated, and hard to follow. but fantastic acting. :D

Observe and Report- 8/10

It was hilarious but kind of disturbing and sick at the same time

Oh and yea, Knowing sucked. I couldn't believe how ridiculous it got at the end. It was so cheesy. If done right, it could have been great.

Sweeney Todd- 8/10

I loved it!

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were also really good!

I Love You, Man - 7/10

The cheap comedy is usually mixed with some pretty funny stuff, so it could have been much worse. Great actors and not too crude either. Not a movie you want to bring a date to, though, and probably more for the guys. Just bring a friend or two.

Another one friends got me to watch the other night:

Burn After Reading: 8/10

Confusing as hell, and you're left pondering what just happened hours after the movie ends. but actually very clever in retrospect, with some superb acting and tongue-in-cheek humor. It's not laugh-out-loud humor; rather it's the kind that makes you think.

Meet the parents - 6/10.

I absolutely adore Ben Stiller, but I think the sequel "Meet the Fockers" is much better. ;)

That was one of my favourite films of last year. I thought it was hilarious as it was just so wacky and off-the-wall. I thought the performances by Brad Pitt and Jon Malkovich were particularly impressive!:D

Adventureland: 3/10

Nothing you haven't seen before. Boy meets beautiful girl who wouldn't stand a chance of garnering any sympathy from the audience if she weren't hot, because she's a complete bitch. A few funny things happen during his summer job at a carnival. That's about it.

Extremely boring.

Yeah, I agree with that. First off, I was expecting a comedy, and there was literally one part where I laughed. And, it was so predictable and cliche that it wasn't unique enough to enjoy at all. The only bit I really enjoyed was the background music. :P

The Last Dispatch

5/10

a documentary about indie band Dispatch's rise to fame despite never getting a record deal. it focused on what drove the band apart, and ultimately, their 1 show reunion in front of a whopping 100,000 people who came to see them play one last time.

good music and insight into the band but unless you are a die hard fan it got kind of boring

The Reader - 9/10.

I really wanted to watch that movie because I had to read the book in school last year, so now I finally made it to the cinema. :) I actually think the book is pretty good and so is the movie! I liked the fact that it was quite close to the book (at least in my eyes ;) ) and it was really moving! Most of the scenes were even like I'd imagined them to be. Plus the actors were brilliant. :)

Observe & Report : 3/10

Latest Seth Rogan flick, what else do you need to know? Only this didn't even have a enough of a story or a script to come anywhere near knocked up or pineapple express. It was essentially him standing around acting stupid with occasional male nudity. Apparently that's all it takes to sell a cheap comedy nowadays. Obviously it had some laughs, but was generally witless and unimpressive.

Adventureland- 10/10... i know that 10/10 is a big rating but i really loved the movie. since i saw it (about a week ago), i've been wanting to see it again.

Really? I'm curious, why did you like it so much?

"Before The Devil Knows You're Dead"

2.5/10

Great acting from Philip Seymour Hoffman as usual, but a trite script and far too many scenes of dread lead to boredom and just wishing for the end of the movie. Unfortunately, the ending was so bad it left me wishing I had never started it.

"The Illusionist"

(that's right I watched two movies in one day :dozey:)

7.5/10

Interesting plot with superb acting, some boring moments but an ending which lasts only a minute or so yet makes the whole film worth seeing.
