I was more concerned with people giving rubbish movies 10!

 

I wouldn't give my favourite movie ever 10, never mind some piece of shit film you'll forget in about 6 months time.

 

There are some movies that deserve a 10.

Like what? If you can justify it I'll let you off

 

but most people just go "it was good, lolz"

American Beauty 1999. A portrayal of suburban america that was so poignant. wonderful story, brilliant acting, phenomenol cinematrography, gorgeous soundtrack. There were scenes in that movie that 10 years later still give me chills.

Yeah, I see your point. Movie rankings are opinions anyway. Some movies are just perfect in every way(according to me) and those could theoretically get 10's. Pulp Fiction is another movie I'd rank a 10.

Dorian Gray - 7/10. Better than I thought it was going to be.

A German film from 2006. Watched it for the second time. I really like it . I think it's based on a true story.

it takes place in the 60s and is about an epileptic girl, from a very religious family living in the country, who attends university and is faced with the pressure to fit in and the conflict between the student life and her religious upbringing...

Better than I expected. Matt Damon did a great job. Loved the story, loved the twist, loved how funny it was. Great movie.
