Ah whatever it's a boring suburb, but it's really nice here. I'm only back for the summer, going back to Ottawa for University in September.

Haha, I lived there for a few months when i was 17 and found it REALLY creepy! Ottawa's much nicer, imo

 

Of course Kingston's nice too. Smaller than Ottawa, but with Queen's U and a thriving music scene.;)

I just realized some of the neighborhood around me are so bad!! Drug dealers, prostitutes, gangs etc. and I don't even live downtown..its really starting to spread to once nice areas :(

 

and...If I move to Ottawa I will be forced to learn french

Yeah, last time I was there it had become much worse. I have friends there, but I'd be a little nervous living there.

Hi from the Hamilton mountain...it's not too bad up here!:D

They are trying to clean some areas up, they renewed downtown , new pavements, rebuilt the library there and farmers market ( they look awesome now)

Barton is the worst street lol, I lived near Barton and Sherman it was terrible, we stayed less than 6 months. Prostitutes were basically standing in front of our house

UGH! Yup, that's where my Dad and Uncle were living. It was nasty!! I did a semester of high school on the mountain so at least the school was decent. And I've played a couple of shows in Corktown. A mix of classes, but really fun!

Yeah I don't go down there unless I have a good reason...(usually a Ti-Cats game...and that's an education down there alright!)

What high school was it? They've just announced they're closing like 4 highschools in Hamilton

I went to the High school downtown, I loved it. People always make assumptions that its bad because its downtown. Principal/Vice principals were strict. Zero tolerance for trouble

 

Too bad they are closing it.
