does anyone like him? i love his voice, it is so gentle..

I like some of his stuff..haven't listened to him for a while though.. :shrug:

HOLY JESUS i love elliott smith. but yeah he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth since his figure 8 tour... so i tend to forget about him a lot.

i just posted this in the other bands forum because i didn't look here first. :rolleyes:

 

anyway, i really am sad to hear that, unlike i've ever been to hear about a celebrity's death before (except maybe george harrison), because i'm a huge fan of his work, and suicide is such a tragic way to go out. it's a damn shame. :embarrased:

they said on yahoo.com that he stabbed himself in the chest. I don't recall ever hearing about him, but this is sad.

I'm a fan of Elliott Smith. It's a darn shame, he had such a great talent. I nearly had a heartattack too when i saw the headline on MSN. RIP Mr. Smith. :cry:

I responded in the general forum, but i'll do it again. I was a big fan of his music. His voice was so relaxing and pretty. He will be missed. :cry:

he was so cool!!!!! awww thats so sad! i was so sad yesterday. and i was talking about him at school and it made me sad.

I keep humming the tune of Miss Misery in my head. It's weird.

I love Elliott Smith. I cried when I heard. It's so horrible. He's music is so beautiful, I'm glad I have been able to hear it.

His posthumous album, "from a basement on the hill" is set to come out october 19th. I am so looking forward to this album. I have so far only heard the first single and live versions of some of the others.
