I've been reading this board for a while now and just signed up as a member today and I've liked coldplay for years now. To me, the posts about who's hotter and whatnot crack me up! Not annoy me! So I say keep 'em coming!

Only read the first post of this thread, but i think Reilly has a point. There is an excess of those kind of threads. This is why i generally avoid the actual 'Coldplay' and 'lounge' sections of the boards.

This may be due to the fact there seems to many more females on these boards than males.

really??? wow that must've sucked. i automatically assume everyone's a girl on the board cuz it's pretty much "*insert band member name here* is hot/amazing/wanna have his babies" (not that i mind, cuz believe me i contribute too haha) don't really see many males...they have to specify if they are. it's also kinda hard cuz everyone's avi's are of coldplay.

Who exactly asked him to "make this place more interesting" and was part of the request to slag off other people and call them airheads and bimbos?

 

Ian asked me to discuss in here because he likes to talk about Coldplay and is a tad frustrated with the threads in his own messageboard. He did not tell me to stir up trouble, all I've done is stated an opinion. The only offensive thing I said was calling people "airheads and bimbos" and if any of you take that as offensive, you'd probably cry if you got called what I've been called in this thread.

 

Now seeing as I dont like Coldplay, I cant really post articles or things like that so I just did the only thing thats easy and stirred up some trouble. And here we are on page 10.

 

At least it's been more interesting to read then the sexy threads.

I am saying that many of you dont care that much about the music because all you are talking about is Chris's haircut and Guy's tight jeans.

 

I have fallen out of love with music, but when I used to adore it, I could talk about an album until my head falls off. Obviously lots of you simply dont have the same passion.

that is not true, for me, I dont like Coldplay because they are 4 hot guys. I love Coldplay's music, which is what I fell in love with along with their talent. When parachutes first came out I only had seen the yellow video, so I just thought it was a guy with a backup band. I didnt even know what they looked like until I went to my first CP concert back in 2002 and noticed the hotty that played drums. I had to look his name up after I met him. Just because I think they are sexy doesnt mean that is why I love the band, it was and always will be the music that comes first, it just makes it an added bonus that they are all sex gods!
