December 27, 200817 yr So in holland there has been a 6 day radio marathon called serious request: 3 deejay's got locked into a 'glass house' in the middle of a square in Breda, and made non stop radio for 6 days. They didn't have proper food for those 6 days, and were only fed disgusting juices to give them their nesecairy vitamins only. Listeners were asked to request songs in exchange for money, for example, I requested shiver and offered 25 euro's for it. at the end of these 6 days the total funds collected would be donated to the red cross specifically for refugees in Kenia. The deejays have been realesed and they've collected 5.637.937 euro's they've created a list of every requested songs these past days coldplay is noted 23 times in that list, and Viva la Vida ended up in the top 4 of most requested songs. Just the viva la vida requests collected over 15.000 euro's :stunned: and this list is not even complete, as I requested shiver and it's not i the list  2102: what if 1713: speed of sound 1572: the hardest part 1530: 2000 miles 1423: in my place 1270: Talk 1083: Lhuna ft Kylie minogue :wideeyed: will be played tomorrow 28th after 7 am 991:amsterdam 927: life in technicolor ii (yeah that's right:stunned:) will be played tomorrow night (28th) 7 pm 832: god put a smile upon your face 808: clocks (rythems del mundo) 699: don't panic 483: green eyes 391: Trouble 318 Lost! December 30, 200817 yr my brother downloaded the episode of SNL where coldplay was the musical guest from itunes, yet the musical performances are not included in the itunes downloads :bigcry:
December 30, 200817 yr ^ Same thing happened to me :bigcry: Also, when they were on the Daily Show, they never put that episode on iTunes at all
December 30, 200817 yr I just got in from work and was flipping through my TV channels and got to S4C (which is the Welsh Channel 4 - we can pick it up here for some reason) ANYWAY, just as I flipped over Jonny and Guy were being interviewed :stunned: Coldplay won some award...UNCD award maybe  Jonny said something in Welsh, 'thank you' presumably, but said that it was all he knew how to say :nice: Then the interviewer congratulated them on being the biggest band in the world, which Guy denied, and asked how they did it. Guy mentioned Eno, Dravs, et al. Then they were asked about Duffy (who is Welsh) and he asked Jonny if that was his choice. Jonny said they all chose her and were gutted she could only do six shows as they wanted her for the full run. He said she was too big to be supporting Coldplay. Hehe.
December 30, 200817 yr Yesterday, I was in the car at 9:00 p.m and suddenly Clocks turned off and it was very strange because I have never heard it on the radio. I heard that song 5 times yesterday
December 30, 200817 yr My brother today bought shirt and the sign on the shirt is "Writing REVOLUTION!!!" I was COLDPLAY!!!!!!!!!!!
December 30, 200817 yr ^ I would totally have been too. Has anyone noticed my avi? It's a christmas heart I made myself saying VIVA (on the other side it says AVIV, but what the heck :P). :)
December 30, 200817 yr ^^^ I noticed it, i think is very pretty :nice: But i keep wondering how did you do that???
December 30, 200817 yr ^Thank you. :nice: Have you ever made a woven christmas heart? ^It's a complicated, more advanced version of that traditional one. ;) A woven christmas heart is an old Danish "tradition". The very first one was created by H.C. Andersen. You can read more about it here Since you can make more complicated hearts, for example with text, I wanted to make a Coldplay related one. Therefore I made the VIVA heart. :nice: Maybe one day I'll try to make one saying Coldplay (which will be a challenge! :stunned:). :)

December 31, 200817 yr Jonny said something in Welsh, 'thank you' presumably, but said that it was all he knew how to say :nice: . Aw, cute - I always wondered if he can still speak any Welsh.. :) Diolch :D
December 31, 200817 yr haha i just remembered that awhile ago i tried to convert my family to love coldplay but i failed in converting my mom dad and brother...but my sister was young enough for me to convert her she is 8 now and nothing makes me happier than hearing her hum coldplay at least once a day...and i put some songs on her computer and she is always listening to coldplay...i just feel that i have introduced her to music that i think is one of the best if not the best...she will not grow up loving gangsters and hoes but coldplay
December 31, 200817 yr ^ I would totally have been too. Has anyone noticed my avi? It's a christmas heart I made myself saying VIVA (on the other side it says AVIV, but what the heck :P). :) Nice! I wonder how you did that "VIVA" thing into it  I really suck at christmas hearts, but maybe i should start learning it.
December 31, 200817 yr That heart is amazing, Clocks In My Place! In the last mathematics exam I couldn't solve a single exercise properly. So I tried to give my best and wrote everything I could imagine may be right. Anyway, I went trough every exercise and had around 20 minutes left. After starring over 10 minutes at my sheet, Chris Martin started singing "I was just guessing at numbers and figures" in my head. I started mumbling that sentence because it saved my from getting mad because of that obviously faild exam. My teacher looked at my and was like 'What the hell?' :inquisitive:
December 31, 200817 yr It's not really a 'thought' but something I wanted to tell you ... :) My local radiostation has this so called 'the new variety' thing going on which basically means that the listeners can request their fave songs between the holidays. I filled in the form to have 'LIT II' played for me and today morning they rang me up to record a bit of a chit-chat ;) Afterwards my request was played and it was the perfect way to start the day. They are currently playing quite a lot of CP which is of course fantastic. Okay, this isn't something spectacular but it's always these little things which put an extra smile on your face ... :smug:
