I've seen them a couple of times in the past (actually, I saw them last week on Friday as well), but I'm REALLY looking forward to their acoustic gig next week in this location:

Got to see them last Wednesday, it was amazing (I also got the setlist :wacko:)! Matt got quite drunk, though, and decided to walk around the venue during Terrible Love. When he got back to the stage (standing next to me in the pit :dead:) he hugged one of the twins' legs :lol: :wacky: I wish I knew them a bit better so I could sing along to more songs. :bomb:

On my way home now. Legendary gig. If anyone is familiar with U2 live at Red Rocks, this was kind of like that. With even more rain. And colder.

 

They played a lot of older and more obscure stuff.

They tried to do it, but then decided it didn't work because of the rain (and lack of practice). They did play alternative versions of some songs (with more acoustic guitars or piano) and they did a lot of old songs.

OK, I shot this by holding my camera with two fingers underneath my chin and with my arms inside my poncho. So some of it is shaky, but this should give you an idea of how amazing it was.

Wow, looks like you experienced a kind of one in a lifetime gig! The place and the rain give a truly special feeling, so amazing!

I've uploaded the rest of the footage to my YouTube channel.

 

It was a four hour drive in non-stop rain, then the gig where it started to rain even harder and then a three hour drive back in the rain as well. Quite a memorable day, but next time I want to see a gig at a location with guaranteed sunshine. :P
