I actually saw them live last night and they played Rylan! It sounded great; I should've recorded it. I would have been so confused if I hadn't heard about the new songs prior to the show.

I'm still obsessed with High Violet. Not many albums that I give a 10/10 to, but I've reached this point with this masterpiece.

Saw The National for the 3rd time 2 weeks ago. I was up in San Francisco to visit my cousin and thought, why not, I'll catch these guys one last time this tour. The new songs weren't quite ready yet, but it was nice finally hearing "Secret Meeting", "Little Faith", and "Green Gloves". I settled for seats because I was with family (a rarity for me when attending gigs) but my pics still didn't come out too bad or anything. (Also, Local Natives and Wye Oak both kicked ass.)

I absolutely LOVE Rylan! Not too into I Need My Girl atleast yet but yeah Rylan is fucking great! I love how they had Benny playing guitar on the Q showing, I was so confused at first cos you couldn't see Aaron at the piano until later on haha.

Whoops, yeah they did. I was reminded of it a few days ago when I was looking at the setlist so I could write my review. During I Need My Girl I was very caught up in attempting to make it down to the pit (long story).
