i said world tour, but i think glasto is just as likely. or an XFM on air gig sometime soon. out of those three, i'd like to have an on-air gig the most, because the tour dates sound like they're going to be in the NME issue coming out the next week.

 

i think out of all the suggested options, though, a release other than the album would DEFINITELY qualify as the most exciting coldplay news we've heard all year. everything else is just GREAT to know, but we've had so many excitements this year that i'm not optimistic about this announcement beating most of those. which is fine, because we've had a brilliant year so far, and it's just going to get better! :dance:

I like the option of "XFM is lying, there is no news". How funny would that be? They would sure get a lot of listeners but then theyd be hated by everyone. LOL:laugh3:

I doubt it would be new artwork, would it be more important than the news we have allready about the actual album? :P An album coming out is proberly the biggest news we have had so far, the only thing that is realistic that some people would think is bigger is a massive world tour, so I voted for that one.

I went with 'announcement of some big release other than the album'. But I am also hoping to get a glimpse of the new album art (online, of course)...

 

And to also hear about some tour dates!

that sounds like it would be the biggest news of the year.

If it was Glastonbury, it would be incredible news as I'm going and would see them! But I highly doubt it is that after Chris Martin saying how glastonbury probabaly is bored of them and they must have confirmed they weren't going to be there anyway. They probably wouldn't go not as headliners either.

the big news could be that they are going to release a B-sides compilation right after Viva La Vida..or a DVD from Toronto/Latin America, I doubt that they're playing Glastonbury very much...
