May 14, 200818 yr this video as coldpatrix said was definitely shot in italy with those settings around.there is no chance for rumours though and i won't believe them too. if not why they were in italy then in disco? and yeah any one likes it or hates it i don't mind because there is no necessity for every person to like it. but i love it.:kiss: i honestly say one thing apart from that frida kahlo's painting name to the album that they chose i don't see any other latin american influences,because they recorded the album in barcelona churches as said by the band and also song facts observation. cemeteries of london - latin american influences? lost-latin american influences? yes-latin american influences? chinese sleep chant -latin american influences? strawberry swings-latin american influences? lovers in japan/reign of love-latin american influences? viva la vida-latin american influences? violet hill-latin american influences? 42-latin american influences? life in technicolor-latin american influences? death and all his friends-latin american influences? a spell a rebel yell-latin american influences? and yeah i know that they're all not apart from that small thing like map of brazil they showed on their coldplay site. but i infact see some influences of asian countries like india as they're using some indian style of instruments in life in technicolor though. (and yeah as all think that i have to fuck of with this , i definitely know what i am saying though!)

Don't know why you like it so much. there are n number of reasons why we like it ok? then tell me the explanation honestly why you like other bands that we don't love. is it something uncommon in this world that all the people must like everything that others do as you're questioning us? or tell me what you want us to like in your opinion we'll see whether that will be good or not?:thinking:
May 14, 200818 yr Yeah, maybe they are holding on to it because it's crummy. This preview leaves me yawning. The band has so many poor music videos (In My Place, Clocks, GPASUYF, and so on). Why is every video just them performing? They do know videos can have other things, right? Violet Hill is full of awesome lyrical imagery that could be put to far better use than this. Unless the rest of the video is brilliant.

May 14, 200818 yr I don't think anyones really dissing coldplay, just the videos.. and besides, from all the behind the video stuff I've seen on MTV and other channels, the band don't have all that much input into the video anyway.. they mainly just say whether they like it or not, most artists employ people to create their videos for them.. personally, after seeing the preview, the video is pretty lacklustre.
