You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...

Featured Replies

I so wish there was a Coldplay cover band in my area...I would even pay for it.

When you start thinking of Coldplay not only when you see the number 42, but now also you see 24 (cause it's an inverted 42), LOL :wacky:

Or anything wiyh 42 in it like 442, 422, 424, etc

don't forget 136! :D

You know when you're addicted to Coldplay when you're on this forum almost everyday.

When you type the name Jonny so much (instead of Johnny) that when you're tired of the spellcheck telling you that you've spelled it wrong, you just add the word to the spellcheck dictionary.

When you already been to all sites imaginable to find pics, videos and info of the band (80% of them being from Will) and while still not being tired of seeing the same stuff over and over. Seriously, I think I need the guys to come back so I can, Ironically, calm down a bit, LOL :joy:

Edit: Being college-free might have helped, now that I think about it.

When you're in hospital and everyone tells you you're "crazy", "obsessed" with Coldplay because you keep watching Coldplay DVDs, listening to Coldplay music, practicing Colfplay riffs and drawing Coldplay-related art

That's a healthy obsession, actually. :grinning:

I hope so ! Am a bit worried that I'm too obsessed with Coldplay, actually :D

And wow, this is exactly Post No. 15000 on this thread !

As soon as any of their songs come up on the television/radio you crank up the volume to full no matter what the time is day or night...

That's alright until it turns into an addiction or even a cult following. :D

Woah, I didn't realize this thread includes so many posts in the first place!

I know what you mean. Or when you tune in to as many radio stations as possible just to catch the Coldplay blaring out! :joy:

When you always order a ‘Caramel Macchiato’ at the Starbucks just to see your name on the cup next to Chris Martin’s initials ;)

When you have to enter a number into a machine to see if it's working and the only number you get is 42

When you patiently wait for the 42 numbered bus to pass by when you know it's going to pass by the road you're on in a few minutes even though your done shopping...

When you are at work and your friend in another office messages you to say that Coldplay are playing on a different radio station to the one that you have on and you immediately switch stations

When you feel so lost if you don't have your love button with you or if by accident you leave it at home... And wonder all day where it could be...

When you check their YouTube video views every night. Been doing it for a year now. And gonna post them on here on Feb 1st in a new thread.

When you already had about 6 Coldplay related dream (I had one just last night) in a short period of time without them being lucid dreams. And yes, most of them are Will centric. :no_mouth:

Did anybody else here already have had dreams with them?

When you walked and posed during the parade at your graduation ball with Paradise blarring out in the background.

Yes, I've seen them a few times

Yes, I've seen them a few times

Phew, good thing I'm not the only one! The crazy thing is that now whenever I dream, they always have to be there somehow. I think that if I actually tried to think about them before sleeping so that I would have dreams about them, it wouldn't probably work! Never had another person or thing having this efect on me. They first conquered my hear, now it's my subconscious, HELP...or do I want it?It's actually kinda cool not gonna lie.

You own almost every Codplay album on vinyl, plus 2 live bootlegs from a record convention!

I own like 7 Coldplay records! I love every one!

I'm having a lot of dreams that feature Coldplay in one way or another :D

You use Coldplayisms in work meetings to explain things to non Coldplayers.

Could you give me an example how you used a Coldplayism, please? :eyes:
