also... off topic... but-

i'm going to a jack's mannequin concert on saturday so i thought id try out their forums to see if i could find a setlist and just get a feel for what the crowd would be like. well i went in and said the usual, heyyy im new here, can anyone let me know what the setlist has been like for the tour??

yknow all nice and polite and such.

but, i guess im just spoiled cuz everyone on here is so nice, all i got was like a straight out answer... no 'welcome!' or 'enjoy the show!' or anything. it made me realize how lucky i am to be part of the nicest group of ppl on earth (Coldplay fans) :P

and also, one of their moderators had a pic of Guy in his avatar!! i flipped!

:laugh3: peace out brussel sprouts?! lmaoo.. i like peace out girl scout too.

go for it, but then i have to do "FANFUCKINGTASTIC" so off topic we are waiting for Pris reviews

I should just set up some kind of payment system with you now then, 'cause that's my new fave word:D It's the only way to describe the feeling when something wonderful&Coldplay related happens! And which I'm all ready to use for when Pris posts her story....

Wow! What a great concert and evening!! I'm exhausted and still on cloud 9 all at the same time. It's tough to get back home (near the Woodlands) at 12:30am and have to get up with my daughter to get her ready for school at 6:05am!! Yikes, but WELL worth it!!!

Any chance any of you guys saw me frantically waving my sign in Section B last night??? :laugh3:I tried to be really polite about when I put it up so I didn't block others view behind me. However, I had it up after Clocks (i think) and was jumping up and down with it and Chris actually looked right at me and said....

"We hope you have a good time tonight and KEEP WAVING THOSE BANNERS!!" I could have died right then and there! That made it worth lugging that thing around all night even if they didn't play Moses as my sign asked them to!

I wish I had been able to meet Angie or Pris, but I never got over to their section. Maybe next time!

Well, back to reality and the countdown to the EP release next week.

Wish I could be in Dallas for the show tonight, too....

Susan

Hey Susan, Isn't it an awesome feeling when you know the boys appreciate your banner effort! If I could request one Moses would be right at the top of the list.

I'm glad you and all my fellow Txans had such a rocking time. We've got a couple of things in common-I'm a Coldplaying Mom and I'm from near your stomping grounds, in the Woodlands. You guys in Spring were such intense high school football rivals. But I'll forgive you of course because you must be OK if you love CP !! ;)

...... Anxiously awaiting the EP too, but in freezing Chicago..... ~~Kelly

Love your signature, Susan! I'm also a Coldplay lovin' mom whose daughters & hubby think I'm a tad bit obsessive in following the boys.

Maybe we Coldplay loving Moms should start our own support group,

could come in handy in trading tips when trying to explain to the family

why NEED to spend ___$ and drive/fly ___hours to see a Coldplay show.

Gosh where is Pris, I am dying to know what happened!!!!! :(

Alright, I'm finally home in SA which means I can finally talk about the show last night.

First off, the show was unbelievable, I just wish I had closer seats (I had Floor E row 17). I was disappointed that Glass of Water wasn't in the setlist, I had my camera ready to take video until I heard SOS come on immediately after In My Place, either way, its all good! I'm trying to think of what song he changed the lyrics to add something about Houston, TX but I can't remember, maybe someone could help me out?

The messup during Death Will Never Conquer was pretty funny, the band, especially Will looked pretty embarrassed. The visual effects and lighting were off the hook, again, I wish I was much closer, maybe next time I'll look for seats closer to the stage but not on the floor..where do you all think the best seats are?? (other than the front row heh)

I was incredibly surprised on how many people started to leave after the Scientist. They missed the best part of the show!

I would get into a bit more detail but I'm tired from driving 500+ miles in 1 1/2 days. Overall the show was great and the merchandise was top notch. I can't wait til they come again, hopefully next year!!

Later everyone.

Well I can answer that. In the end of violet hill chris said "If your from texas, wont you let me know". Then, I don't know in which song though, he said something like "beyonce knowles, destiny's child" (probably because they are good friends). Well my seats were in row 14 floor B, but during fix you we moved up to row 5. And you are totally right, after the scientist people started leaving because these girls in front of us left so we snagged their seats. Lol! I loved politik, it was brilliant. my favorite song

Thanks, and yeah Politik is one of my favorites, top 3 for sure.

agreed. i was confused by the people leaving after the scientist, they missed lovers in japan!!! that was by far the best part. i also agree with you that the lighting was simply amazing. great concert. glad to see others in texas (i love SA! im from Houston) that are dedicated enough to coldplay to drive 500+ miles, it really inspires me! well, Houston is hoping to have you the next time you stop by for a coldplay concert, or maybe they will make a stop in San Antonio next time! i hope you had fun, i sure did :D

Thanks for the warm welcome!! It was DEFINITELY worth the drive. It would be nice if they come to SA but I have no problem driving to Houston again! Hopefully they come back next year for another US leg of the VIVA tour. But yes, Lovers In Japan was the highlight of the night, the band really knows how to make people enjoy their music even more by making the live show amazing.

I wish I could go to all of them.

Oooo I like that last one!!!:stunned:

Thanks
