dry_pretzels
That sweeping video :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: With the echoes of the Viva WOOOOOAAAAOOOOOHHHH's (or however it's spelled) from the audience playing faintly in the background. :( That made it worse for me. Well, we'll miss you, boys. Until next time!

marie/pims
New interview on coldplay.com :D:D:D:D That was pretty decent of them. Definitely - and I hope Parlophone paid for the taxi! What I found fascinating about the band was their absolute attention to detail. They went to the mastering of the single in Walthamstow, and if you went out for a drink with Chris, he'd constantly bombard you with questions, but without making you feel like you were being interrogated or used. They were just genuinely fascinated by the whole process of it. And completely up for anything - even if it was being first on the bill in a tiny place like the Bull & Gate. And with all that questioning and diligence, came the charm. That was the key to the whole essence of it. But I do wonder what life would've been like for Coldplay if they had signed straight to a major. Would they have got in the NME? They weren't pretending to be cool, slouching around Camden trying to buy drugs. They were just incredibly eloquent, nice lads. Saying that, I did go to their student flat near ULU once. That was quite something. In what sense? I have never seen such a dirty toilet! People might have been calling them posh, rich kids, but they certainly knew how to slum it! Now this something we didn't know :laugh3: aaaahh men.

Mimixxx
Signed confetti butterflies auction March 22, 2010 4:28 pm Viva butterflies signed by the band auctioned for hospice Good afternoon. For its latest fundraising campaign, the Keech Hospice in Herts, England chose a butterfly theme and asked famous folks to contribute. Coldplay have thus donated four of the confetti butterflies from the Viva La Vida world tour, signed by each member of the band. This unique piece of memorabilia has been framed and is now being auctioned via eBay. Click here if you would like to bid (the auction closes on 29th March). Thank you. SueDeNimes
Here they are: The Oracle's Lat Am snaps - Feb/Mar 10 First part: Kicking off in Argentina. Oh dear. One fan was probably hopping mad to lose their shoe. The band are on and the front row are happy! Buenos Aires fans not caring the Oracle was blocking their view. Nice jacket amigo, have I seen it somewhere before? Viva indeed. That almost looks like her head. They look a bit squashed to me. Uh oh, looks like I was caught on camera too. Smile senor, everyone else is having a great time! The aftermath of the butterfly invasion. They deserve a medal for bravery and patience. Colourful Caminito - Buenos Aires. Ipanema beach at sundown. Mojito in hand. Outside our hotel - dedicated fan with seriously good sewing skills! Cristo Redentor! The only good view of this landmark due to poor visiblity. Rain! Just like England... Caroline Elleray - Universal Publishing - having a laugh in San Paulo. Yes, ladies and gentleman that is indeed Ronaldo. See the earth from outer space... Amazon River to be precise. Nothing like a good sunset. I committed the best one to memory but this was worth a shot. Second part coming!
SueDeNimes
The Oracle's Lat Am snaps - Feb/Mar 10 Second part: Approaching Bogota before I sat in flighdeck for landing. This was one of many incredible fan-made gifts. Given to Roadie #42 on arrival at Bogota hotel. Side of stage in Colombia. One of the many perks of the job for sure. In the oldest part of Bogota. Mighty fine artwork. Smile you're on the big screen! Where's wally? Invasion of ants... not real ones. They were made from real skulls though. Honestly. Regular readers: this is the Colombian cheese and chocolate I was telling you about. Cool car dude! Possibly the best Marguerita ever in El Refugio Mexico City. First night in Mexico City. Gates are barely open. Unofficial merchandise comes with such hazards as not making sense in anyone's language! Check out Jonny the axeman's casting shadow! Mexico City. And then there was light. Guadalajara. Guadalajara's fantastic cabrones. Last night. Big up the fabulous Bat for Lashes: Natasha. Bat for Lashes: Charlotte. Bat for Lashes: Ben. Bat For Lashes: Valentina. That's it. What is weird however is that my anti-virus program Avast alerts me every time I go on coldplay.com that there is a bad website trying to open and that it has been blocked. :uhoh: Maybe that's the reason that some of you can't see the gallery at all? Deirdre
It's weird because I also have Avast! and I use Firefox and I don't have this problem
