New song, Atlas, for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack

Track to be available from 8 Sept UK / 6 Sept everywhere else

 

Good afternoon. It's been announced today that a new Coldplay song, Atlas, will feature on the official soundtrack for the forthcoming film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

 

22 AUG UPDATE: Atlas will now be available via iTunes and all digital retailers on Sunday, 8 September, 2013 in the UK and Friday, 6 September, 2013 everywhere else (we had to move it back a bit from the original 26 August date - sorry for the hold-up). The film is due for release on 22 November, 2013.

Only a week until the band's new song makes its debut...

 

Good afternoon. Coldplay's new song, Atlas, is now available to pre-order from the UK iTunes Store, a week ahead of its worldwide debut, on Friday, 6 September (its UK release follows on Sunday, 8 September). The song is taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Good afternoon. We're pleased to unveil the official lyric video for Atlas, which is taken from the soundtrack to the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Atlas is available on iTunes today (for UK folks, the track will be released at 12.01am on Sunday morning, but can be pre-ordered now).

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released worldwide on 22 November.

 

Atlas was recorded at Coldplay’s Beehive studio in London, between April and July 2013. It was produced by Coldplay with Daniel Green and Rik Simpson.
