bellynelly
I WAS gutted that Torres signed for Chelsea, thinking it was great that he was staying in english football and at least I could still see him play, but then after thinking about it, reading alot of stuff and watching LFC TV, I now realise we are well rid of him, not one word of thanks for the years of surport and worship we gave him, and I just went on LFC website and Babel put on his twitter page a really lovely parting message to liverpool fans after he left for Germany this week, want a gent!! I have no respect for Torres anymore, kinda wish he had gone overseas now. I took my Torres book to a charity shop this morning, didn't want to burn it, but the woman in there laughed and said that she guessed she'd be seeing alot of them, and nobody wanting to buy them, theres alot of liverpool fans in that town!!! I don't wanna know how many times I've printed 'Torres' on the back of a shirt in work. :embarrassed: I'm sure there's gonna be loads of arguments with customers who think they should be able to get their money back... mc_squared
I have no respect for Torres anymore, kinda wish he had gone overseas now. If he had had any respect for Liverpool and their fans, he would have at least gone to a club outside of England. The manner of his departure is typical of the behaviour of "superstar" footballers nowadays. They're nothing more than mercenaries and the vast majority don't know the meaning of the word "loyalty".:( Don't forget the way Rooney virtually held Man U to ransom last summer, either.:dozey:

Fair enough if he wants to leave the club but I do think he should have stayed till the end of the season. He's got no respect for the club or the fans, I actually think he deliberately offended everyone last night. Glad he's gone!

His general attitude this season had been pretty disgraceful anyway. Let's hope Chelski don't win anything.:smug: Carroll hasn't exactly covered himself in glory, either. They both should have had the common decency to stay till the end of the season IMO.

Tonight was the first time he shared a field with his new team mates!! What a way to walk into your first training session tommorow!
