That's why you have to have respect for the way Becks has conducted himself as a family man over the years. His background and level of intelligence are not dissimilar to Rooney's, but he's managed to improve himself as a person, unlike Roo.:dozey: I can't see that changing, either, as Roo is like Gazza Mk. May 20, 201115 yr Piers Morgan really needs to grow up. how he landed a major gig on one of the biggest news channels in the world is beyond me. the constant childish bickering with man utd players shows how petty he is and how desperate he is for attention. Re Qatar. i'm not getting my hopes up over anything. Re Rooney. *facepalm* i should really stop reading his twitter. i usually like to judge a footballer based purely on their on field talents. but some of the crap he says on twitter makes me cringe. almost end of the season. i really hate june and july :( even though it's peak sporting season down here in australia and in tennis and F1. the lack of club football leaves me looking desperately for other forms of entertainment that can match it. none ever seem to. The Scottish Premier League finished last weekend. Bizarrely this year it starts again on the 23rd July!

You get plenty of 'scallies' from Liverpool just like you do with 'neds' in Glasgow, 'schemies' in Edinburgh or various other cities with their own spin on chav! Watching the Scottish Cup Final. 2-0 to Celtic over Motherwell. There seems to be no general tactic employed by either side which makes it like the weather rather soggy looking. Celtic's first goal was a real good strike though and Motherwell crashed the crossbar with an incredible effort by one of their players.

Great achievement to get back at the top after a tough last decade or so. Jurgen Klopp is a real star manager. Also to what Reilly was mentioning it's a real shame to see Deportivo relegated. Didn't seem that long ago since we saw them in the Champions League semis back in 04. They had a fantastic team back then. And nice to see the name or should I just say Wimbledon back in the English football league.
