I heard rumours Liverpool wanted him as second choice to Reina. That'd be good but if for Tottenham I would have looked for a long term replacement for Gomes. Friedel's probably only got one or two years left in him at most. Not a great piece of business by Redknapp.

There were rumours a while ago about a deal with Tevez for Sneijder, but that has died down thankfully, it would be a mistake for both teams in my opinion.
