It's a manager merry-go-round, where will they end up next?

Alex McLeish to West Ham

McLeish must have a new job, he was given full backing by the board at BC and what, £12m parachute payment to spend over the summer?

Would be a hoot if McLeish ended up at Villa.

Yes, but who wants to manage in the Championship when they don't have to?

And imagine the uproar if Villa play the Mingers anytime next year.

But still he must have something lined up, afterall leaving European football

Lolz, there's this lame cup in north/central america called gold cup (with all due respect but there are only 2 decent teams in this area: Mexico and United Sates, and to a much smaller extent Costa Rica) and Panama beat US 2 - 1. Just wanted to share so you can lolz as well

I have a friend who was at that game, and we were having a laugh because Tim Ream is known in the MLS for making big snaffou's, and he was personally responsible for both of Panama's goals (first was basically an own goal, and the second was a P.K. on his foul).

*giggles*

The PK foul was so naive and fail, a must-see in future football bloopers....

This was one hell of a goal

Exodus! We'll all leave Toon now Nolan's joined West Ham, warns Barton

Joey Barton has predicted a player exodus from Newcastle after club captain and top scorer Kevin Nolan was allowed to leave for Championship club West Ham for £4million.

Nolan, who scored 12 goals last season, has agreed a four-year deal at Upton Park worth £55,000-a-week, after rejecting Newcastle's contract offer.

article-0-0C932A2500000578-298_634x451.jpg Out of Toon: Barton hit out at Newcastle on Twitter after Nolan was sold to West Ham for £4million

He was offered a £4m package to stay in the North East, including a pay rise and a £500,000 bonus if they finish in the top 10 next season.

Toon fans will be unhappy with another star leaving, after Andy Carroll's exit. Now Barton is predicting he, Jose Enrique and Jonas Gutierrez will be next out of the club.

'Great player, leader, captain, person, trainer and mostly a friend for life,' said Barton about Nolan on Twitter.

article-0-0BB3113800000578-700_306x423.jpg Moving on: Enrique's Newcastle future is in doubt

'Devastated to see him SOLD!' Barton also added 'mejoseandjonasnext'.

At Royal Ascot, Barton said: 'It will be a great disappointment to lose him but that's the game we are in and sometimes it is like ships in the night. Hopefully the move will break down but if it doesn't you have to believe in the process of the football club and no one player is bigger than the club.

'He would be a massive miss for any club. He has achieved iconic status, not only for his three goals against Sunderland but the way he held himself in the city, the season he had in the Championship and also last season.

'Being able to bounce back and score 12 goals in the Premier League is a phenomenal achievement in any side, never mind a side fighting for its life as we were for a long part of that season.'

Newcastle refused to break their wage structure to keep Nolan, while West Ham quickly agreed and the midfielder had a medical yesterday.

They expect to announce the deal today with owners David Sullivan and David Gold said to be 'thrilled' with the capture.

Barton, 28, says he has 'no ambitions to leave' but has been unable to secure the three-year extension he wants to replace his contract which runs out at the end of next season, despite accepting a pay-cut.

Wembley to host the Champions League Final again in two years time. To coincide with the FAs 150th anniversary and UEFA's delight at the success of last months final (some officials calling it the best staged European Cup final ever) they have decided that the final will return there.

The success of the Wembley final only goes to show what a miserable/fixed outcome the 2018 decision was.

they've also guaranteed that ticket prices will be reduced. i think i might consider going to this.....need to think about it.

they've also guaranteed that ticket prices will be reduced..

Reduced how? From £1000 to £500 each?

Merseyside may be neatly divided into red and blue, but someone forgot to tell the designers of the new Liverpool third strip.

Fans are calling for the kit, modelled by Steven Gerrard, to be scrapped because it features the colours of rivals Everton.

Are you sure about this? Steven Gerrard poses in Liverpool's third shirt for the 2011/12 season

Duncan Oldham, editor of fans forum KopTalk, said: ‘This kit should be torched.’

Everton striker Louis Saha wrote on Twitter: ‘Blue away kit for Liverpool? Can’t find anything more strange than that.’

Something tells me that won't be flying off the shelves......................

If it was for ANY other team, I would say it's a pretty nice jersey...

But Liverpool? It doesn't have anything to do with the team.

You can't even recognize that's Liverpool.

To me, it seems like one of these jerseys from European teams that are going to make their debuts on UCL lol

Adidas say it's supposed to pay homage to the colours of Liverpool's original kit of blue and white (Blackburn Rovers like) which Liverpool used in the first few years of the club's formation but the cynics will say it's only done that way to suit the official colours of the shirt sponsor Standard Chartered. I don't believe that and I honestly believe that it was done in tribute to the original kit. I don't mind it and I think it looks alright but I won't be buying it. It's only their 3rd kit anyway. This is their proper away kit which I'll be getting. It looks fantastic.

I agree. Way better. ;)

Me too. I still think they should have the club's badge in its original color, though.

Hello guys. I am back. I have not posted in a while, been pretty busy lately but I just finished school.

How are you people? I cannot wait for the Copa America. No football bores me.

I am happy to inform you guys that I am going to see Juventus the 26th of July at New York. It'll be exciting.

By the way, what's with that fat bastard Ashley selling all his players and not getting the ones needed?

Oh, and yes, I know the Gold Cup is around but it just bores the heck out of me. I do not find any excitement in it. After all, the cup is just Mexico destroying teams like Nicaragua, Cuba, Guatemala and then winning against the US in the final.

and then winning against the US in the final.

excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, but the U.S. has won 3 of the last 5 finals. tank u vewy much!

Haha, hey, do not get me wrong. I support the US national team. It's just that Mexico's attack seem so strong now. Chicharito, Guardado and Dos Santos are really talented while we look so disorganized lately. We have that Goodson, Ream partnership which I do not like and if Howard do not pull one of those performances like the one against Spain in the Confederation Cup I think we are gonna get trashed.
