August 13, 200817 yr I was watching some diving montage or something and they were playing "Life in Technicolor" in the background...I got all excited for a second lol, I thought it was an odd choice, but a good one nonetheless.

August 13, 200817 yr They were interviewing a barber in Beijing (he was giving haircuts to young boys right in the square - ultra-short buzz cuts, with Olympic designs in them..) - a few days ago, and the Chinese version of Clocks (by the 12-String Band) was playing in the background..:)

August 13, 200817 yr Author It was some montage, I don't think it was the live games. It was something NBC was doing as the soundtrack of the Olympic games, don't think it was an ad though.

August 13, 200817 yr They were playing a dramatic story on Phelps and his Olympic journey and his quest for 8 gold medals, and it was synchronized with Life in Technicolor. The scenes changed along with the music. It was pretty cool.

August 13, 200817 yr in my quest to see everything on NBC related to michael phelps...i somehow missed this :sad: :P i saw a bunch of interviews with his mom, though i feel like if LIT was playing, i would TOTALLY pay more attention to that than the mother of a geeky-yet-adorable swimmer :P
