i am definitely most excited for life in technicolor w/lyrics...i have been addicted to the son without lyrics!

but i also cant wait to see the brand new songs like PM and RD that we haven't heard any of yet....it may seem that i am most excited about GoW tho....i already have over 100 plays on itunes...and thats just the 41 second teaser!

yeah!!! good news!!! Maybe in two weeks prospekt will inform us about famous old painters!!!

please play LIT with lyrics in jersey!!!!!!! i am going to decorate my car with the lyrics if it is out

I thought an E.P. could only have 6 songs??!!

I'm pretty sure EPs are defined differently in different countries :)

Squeeeeeeeeee!

Voted for Rainy Day... That was the title that got me the most excited last year, and I've been wating ever since. :nice:

Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.

Coldplay will in November release an eight-song EP, "Prospekt's March," which will include a new version of the song "Lost" featuring rapper Jay-Z. Six of the eight tracks on the EP are new studio recordings, including "Glass of Water," which the band has been performing live of late.

The track list is rounded out by the Jay-Z version of "Lost" and the Osaka Sun remix of "Lovers in Japan."

Coldplay will begin a North American tour Oct. 20 in Ottawa, Ontario, in support of its latest Capitol album, "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends." The set is the second-highest selling U.S. release of 2008, according to Nielsen SoundScan, at 1.77 million copies.

Looks like Lost + is the Jay-z version- makes sense; having all the extra stuff in one place. I wonder if the Lovers in Japan remix is the acoustic version? I kind of hope so.

This year is definitely ONE OF MY FREAKIN' FAVOURITE YEARS OF MY LIFE!!!

I wanna send them a "Postcard From" Egypt saying:

"You just put a smile upon Sphinx face!!!"

^^^ hey, that sounds nice!!!!

Write one, scan it, and send me the scans, and I'll post it through the Bakery door when I'm there later this week...:)

i'm kind of surprised that LIT II is the most-anticipated song. i would think that something that's 100% new rather than 50% new would be getting more excitement. interesting! :D

i'm interested to see if "now my feet won't touch the ground" has anything to do with strawberry swing, too. and wasn't there a rumor around that "rainy day" had something to do with the first part of DAAHF?

Eeek, I don't log on all day and this is what I miss?!

8 songs!!! That's only 2 less than a full album! We're basically getting 2 Coldplay albums in one year... it's heaven :) Hopefully they'll play some stuff at the SNL taping and/or my concert....

But I'm confused about the whole "November is Prospekt's March" thing... Didn't they confirm that the Lost! EP is November, and PM is in December? What's going on?

EDIT: Oh, and I support this whole sending postcards idea full-heartedly!! It's an awesome idea.

Wooohooooooo!!

Christmas gift will definitely come earlier!! :D

It's very nice to read a note from Prospekt again :nice:

is it true that the EP is not available seperately? and they only "re-release" "VLVODAAHF" as a "double album"?

man, lots of inverted commas...

I can't wait can't wait can't wait!!! Tomorrow at work I'm gonna see what i can find out about this... I checked last time I was there in our advanced CD release thing and didn't see anything about it. I'm assuming the only thing I'll find ANYWAY will be the reissued Viva La Vida with bonus contact... since they aren't releasing a hard copy independent EP? Or are they?

in any case, I'm soooo excited. November is going to be a brilliant month. :D Also, one of my other favorite musical artists, Enya, has just surprised everyone by announcing a brand new album coming out November 11th. Oooooh November is like Christmas presents early! :D

I'm just confused about whether we're getting one EP or two, and if it's coming in November or December! Especially since the new lineup has "Lost +" on it, which was supposed to be on the Lost! EP...

I'm so excited for this. :)

I have a feeling it will go down as a truly brilliant EP, similar to Radiohead's Airbag/How Am I Driving? (companion EP to OK Computer).

Wow, this IS great news! More excitement than ever leading up to Christmas and beyond. It's all gonna tide me over until Imogen Heap and Utada release their new albums early next year.

LIT ii seems intriguing with lyrics, but Postcards also draws me in... We shall see!

LOL at all the Losts!

Lost o(^0^)o ?

Lost o(^0^)o ?

HAHHAA.

that just made me laugh so hard that i think i woke up my parents...

Write one, scan it, and send me the scans, and I'll post it through the Bakery door when I'm there later this week...:)
