Listened to the full album on their myspace site this morning. just brilliant!! this is the first Grizzly Bear album i've listened to and absolutely love it. kills Animal Collective in the "artsy indie rock" area.

Rumour is very soon. Him and Kanye finished it up awhile ago. From the three tracks out. This is gonna be great.

 

This is his last one on Def Jam, then he moves over to Live Nation.

Yeah Yeah Yeah's It's Blitz! is definately worth picking up!!It is an amazing album from start to finish.And if you can get you hands on the acoustic versions of some of the songs you will be pleased!!

I've heard great things about the new Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Passion Pit. I ahven't heard any of it yet, but I've been meaning to. One thing I do know for sure is that the new unreleased Mew album will be amazing. People who have already heard it call it a masterpeice. But there are already so many great albums of 2009 so far. I wonder what the top albums of the year will be.

ladyhawke and empire of the sun both came out mid to late last year. nonetheless both are half decent albums.

Ladyhawke's album was one of my favourites of last year. I highly reccomend it.

 

Franz Ferdinand's is amazing as well. I think it's my favourite album from them.

I wouldn't listen to Lily Allen's album if it was the one thing that would save my life. She's such a terrible terrible singer. Basically she talks through her songs.

 

And what really irks me about her. She pretends she's a working class hero when in fact she grew up in a big house with rich parents. Everybody knows she's a bit of a joke to be honest with you.

just out curiousity what inspired that random attack on Lily? if you dont like then fine dont like her, the rest of the world doesnt care. no idea where you got the idea that she pretends to be a working class hero. i agree that she is a joke and she knows it, its when u start taking music too seriously that you lose the entire point of it.

 

and wow U2 have an album out!! in 2009??!! never heard about it. thanks for the heads up. are they going to tour for it? ooo when will tickets go on sale?? ooo i bet you that they'll choose someone like Muse to support them in the US. just a hunch. and maybe someone random like Black Eyed Peas. how funny would it be if im right!!
