ahhh! i turned off the coldplaying tweets to my phone on the night of the warchild gig because i was getting tweets literally every few minutes from both ian and coldplay, and it filled up my inbox to the point where i couldn't recieve any more :P. i guess i forgot to turn them back on...

 

i swear, coldplay is the only reason i'm on twitter, and the fact that i'm on twitter at all is a huge secret in real life :lol:

Even though the Twitter comments were most likely fake, I wasn't surprised that I saw this. Alan McGee is one of the largest hypocrites in the media; only if he ever produces a Joshua Tree or a Viva then I'll actually give a damn about the crude, jealous remarks he makes.

BRIAN ENO - MCGEE'S INTERNET BATTLE WITH 'FAKE' BRIAN ENO

 

 

Retired music mogul ALAN MCGEE is waging a bizarre and bitter online war of words with a man impersonating superproducer BRIAN ENO.

 

The pair have been exchanging insults on social networking site Twitter for a number of days, in full view of other internet users.

 

According to CMU Music, MCGee started the fight by insulting Eno's production work, and then asking him "when are you going to make a decent record again...1972 was the last one c**t".

 

But MCGee's rants are falling on deaf ears, according to Scottish dance star Calvin Harris. Harris reveals he approached Eno at a recent event to ask about the argument with MCGee, and the producer - who has worked with Coldplay and David Bowie - insisted he isn't even signed up to Twitter.
