Gotta say Germany's looking like the team to beat so far!

pretty much the only teamso far that's made me think 'these guys could win the world cup'.

Psyched for Holland tomorrow.

I think Paraguay could hold Italy to at least a draw.

Can't wait here come the Oranje army, Hup Holland Hup!

I so want to see Holland playing :D

i wantthem to have a good world cup

Predictions:

Netherlands 3 - 0 Denmark

Japan 0 - 2 Cameroon

Italy 1 - 0 Paraguay

Argentina can win too if they keep improving!

Netherlands 3 - 0 Denmark

Japan 2 - 1 Cameroon

Italy 2 - 1 Paraguay

Predictions:

Netherlands 5 - 2 Denmark

Japan 1 - 2 Cameroon

Italy 2 - 0 Paraguay

The truth is that if refereeing was awful, australia's performance was worse.

That's also true, sadly. Maybe next time they should try playing on surfboards!:P

Ledley King's out! England fear World Cup is over for crocked central defender

England's defensive crisis deepened last night as it emerged that Ledley King is highly unlikely to play again at the World Cup finals.

Fabio Capello has already lost captain Rio Ferdinand since arriving in South Africa and now his replacement has been ruled out by England’s medical staff for three weeks.

King suffered pain in his groin after only four minutes of Saturday night’s 1-1 draw with the USA and limped on until half-time before being replaced by Jamie Carragher.

After being examined by England’s medical staff yesterday, there is a belief that King will be sidelined for two to three weeks, or possibly even longer.

Three weeks would take England up to the semi-finals but the injury-prone Spurs captain rarely recovers from such setbacks ahead of schedule.

John Terry revealed how soon King suffered the injury at the Rustenburg Stadium.

‘It was straight after Stevie Gerrard scored,’ said Terry.

VIDEO: Ledley injury nightmare...

‘He turned to me and said he was feeling tight in the groin. I don’t know how long he’s going to be out but it was obviously a problem for him to have to come off.

'Carra came on and did well but in the first half I thought me and Ledley had a good understanding.’

King’s injury is a serious concern for Capello, even though Carragher has the quality and experience to cope with the pressures of a major tournament.

Capello was pleased with the Liverpool defender’s contribution but there are concerns over his pace against the faster forwards.

He was skinned by America’s Jozy Altidore in the second half on Saturday and only spared ultimate embarrassment by Rob Green’s excellent, near-post save.

If Carragher is considered a liability, England may have to consider Matthew Upson or Michael Dawson.

Hup Holland Hup!

If anyone can top that German performance its the Dutch, the way they ripped apart Italy and France at Euro 08 was superb. I'm expecting a convincing performance from the Oranje! Can't wait.

I'm really tempted to get a Dutch jersey with Sneijder at the back of it.

hahaha this advert...:wacky:

(my avi:blush:)

Müller!

Can't wait for Friday now ... I'm going to the city centre to watch the match. :bomb:

And I'm excited to see how the Netherlands and Italy perform today.

ooooh Müller did such a great job....but Klose and Lahm in this pic aww:blush:....omg I feel like such a fangirl now

damn I have to work on friday....I really hope there'll be no customer at the shop and we can watch it on the computer....:wacky:

Müller was awesome ... oh, don't mind me ... I've been a Schweini fangirl for way too long. :P

Gah, I wish you could come to Hannover ... I've got all the crazy fan stuff (except for a vuvuzela) ... I'm so gonna embarrass myself.

hahah according to looks I like Mertesacker most...:wacky:

ooooh I'd love to do that..:disappointed:

btw....I had the impression the Vuvuzelas weren't THAT loud yesterday...

He's nice, yeah. :wacky: And he's tall. :wacky:

It would be an even bigger German Coldplaying meet-up. :disappointed:

Yeah ... but that's because the TV stations try to turn the sound from the stadiums a bit down, because tons of watchers have complained ... :freak:

But I did hear some DeutSCHLAAAND DeutSCHLAAAND DeutSCHLAAAND DeutSCHLAAAND from time to time. :wacky:

The Dutch need to step it up. They are capable of playing way better than this.

GOAL!!!!!!!!! Freak one but who cares may the floodgates open.
