FINISHED! SOUTH AFRICA 2010 WORLD CUP!!

Featured Replies

No French or Portugese in my fantasy football team either. Proven right by the fact that France are just awful, and that I don't think the Portugese will get further than the last 16.

Villa is da man 2 - 0

Viva la furia roja!

That reminds me of viva la vida and coldplay

HOLY CRAP! Villa missed a PK!!! :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Interestingly, there will be probably a triple tie in the H group...

Spanish players don't sing their anthem. Bad sign...

The Spanish anthem (Royal March) doesn't have any lyrics.

That PK wasn't for Villa. If Torres had the chance, we would've scored.

Anyway, they did play great, but they won't make it. Chile will own their asses.

So yes, I think this world cup will be for South America.

When is the match between Uruguay and Mexico?

Switzerland should be favourites to join Chile in the second round, its very possible for the Swiss to beat Honduras by one more goal than Spain beat Chile by. Then Switzerland-Spain head-to-head result comes into play.

Spain have missed a trick that Portugal didn't today!

Uruguay Mexico is tomorrow

I think so far the main problem of Spain has been the fact that Torres was injured before this World Cup and he has just recovered reciently. He's slowly getting back to his game, so yes I hope he will be there and probably will score and beat Chile.

You have to support Mexico Alexa :shifty:

You have to support Uruguay :P

lets hope a great match tomorrow

Forget his injury, WTF has he done to his hair! He can't play football with that horrid hair. Go back to the blond Fernando! :wink3:

Ok, for you Richard

thanks!

Haha

All these guys are married!

What about the same pics from women's national teams?

Is it glory hunting supporting a team like Brazil or Argentina when you're own team isn't good enough or not in the competition? Just wondering as you get many of those empty football fans here in Scotland. I mean I may love watching Barcelona for instance, but it doesn't mean I start supporting them. I think many who do are asked the question 'who will you support?' and will go for the generic answer 'Brazil' or 'Argentina' have fallen to football commercialisation.
