I'm doing the same, we still have sun today, but it's expected to snow a bit tomorrow afternoon, the thing that worries me the most is getting to London first on saturday, than once there we'll see how things are with the trains :worried:

I've been checking the forecasts every day since two weeks ago and each day was a different one for this weekend, tough usually they should be more reliable getting closer to the date..damn it, I've never been so worried about a trip, not even last year for getting to Exeter

Met Office weather warnings for Merseyside Sat 18th/Sun 19th:

Sat 18 Dec

Widespread Icy Roads & Heavy Snow

Further snow showers are likely in many parts of the UK, some of these heavy and prolonged, with western areas likely to be most affected. Additionally, there will be a continuing risk of widespread ice affecting untreated surfaces.

There is also an increased risk of a band of snow spreading from the west across southern parts of the country during the day. This could lead to further accumulations of snow.

Sun 19 Dec

Widespread Icy Roads & Heavy Snow

Further snow showers are likely in many parts of the UK, some of these heavy and prolonged, with eastern areas most likely to be affected. Additionally, there will be a continuing risk of widespread ice affecting untreated surfaces

COLDPLAY = BAND of SNOW

I really hope that things work out so you'll be present at both gigs. :fingerscrossed:

I just saw and heard Christmas Lights again.

That song is growing on me.

In Denmark right now: Rainy in Jutland. Snowy on Zealand. How is weather right now in Gothenburg?

"Band of snow" is a nice vague term they use when they have no idea how long it's gonna last :P

I agree! Maybe you, Craig et al, Carrie and me need to keep in touch via Twitter or on here etc on Saturday since we're all travelling from London to Liverpool throughout the day. Let each other know how we're getting on and what the train stations are saying etc. Karma can be increased if we all help each other out :nice:

Sounds like a plan, Mich! I think Craig has internet on his phone so we'll be in touch :nice:

this morning's weather report showed the snow mainly hanging around Scotland, Wales & Birmingham today and tomorrow. Saturday was not a promising picture. it was a big patch of white snow from Newcastle all the way south to London across pretty much the whole width of the country.

Hi from Birmingham!

The forecasts said heavy snow just around the time I was landing, but there was no snow at all. Only now it was snowing for about 15 minutes and that was it.

I hope everyone will arrive all right!

Don`t panic!

See you!
