The Oracle did say that the new look wasn't for the album... I'm kind of hoping she's lying, though, 'cause I really like it! :awesome:

If it's correlation to the album I wouldn't mind. I think they look amazing in those. In my opinion far far better than Viva uniforms.

I've been away for awhile from coldplaying so I just noticed their new outfits and the Christmas lights thing today.

now I think i don't miss the Viva clothes anymore cause i think i get to love their new outfits more and more each era...

 

It really fits them, i'm getting bored of viva to be honest.... :uhoh:

I thought it could be this for the new era because of the roses they have :) And I agree, it looks great.

But the Viva outfits were definitely awesome to me! I thought I would miss them but now... Not at all...

It would be surely nice, if it was the new era style, but it seems too festive to me, I have a feeling that it is only for this special occasion, Christmas song, Christmas gigs...

Maybe I´m wrong :shrug:

They look awesome in it, but I wish they'd just wear t-shirts and jeans like every other band. :lol:

They are just awesome. They definitely have style. I hope those costumes will last.

I miss the X&Y era, with those black clothes, white shoes... I really loved it!

Now I think they're tired of the uniforms, no? Who knows they start to use natural clothes again? I also liked the simple clothes of A Rush era!!:blush:

I for one love the viva outfits and what I have seen so far of the new stuff. Anything is better then black jump suits...

I think a big majority of artists no a days focuss waayyy too much on their "stlye" and not enough on the music its self.

 

Ive noticed this a lot lately.

 

Its becoming more and more about outward appearance and what their selling and less about the quality of the songs.

 

They try and make the whole album/attire/sound of the album into one thing and... thats just such a gimmick to me.

 

Stop dressing like Sgt. Peppers and focus on making good music.

 

Stop dressing like a sleazy attention whore and try writing something decent that isnt catchy crap.

 

Put your boobs back in your shirt because your supposed to be a singer not a whore and at the end of the day Im listening to whats on the album not looking at your bra that spouts fire.

 

I dont care what you look like because at the end of the day Im hearing your album and not seeing your glitter covered/spandex'd/Sgt. Peppers/tight pants and leather jacket covered body.

 

 

Bottom Line.

 

I hope Coldplay keep the clothing simple and put the effort into the music and not the costumes this time.

The good thing about the Viva Outfits is theyre much more recognizable when drawing them.

 

As soon as I draw that Jacket everyone knows its coldplay..... which is kinda nice.

I liked the black outfits and white trainers of the X&Y era, and I liked the Viva style as well. The way they dress makes them stand out from other bands, and the newest look does as well. I hope it lasts, too.

The Viva outfits looked like French Revolutionary/American Civil War outfits designed for a school play by the child's mum...but I liked them!

I can't imagine Chris sitting behind the piano, or guitar, staying still, I still see him running all over the place, and it probably won't be suit and tie clothes, altho they all look awful special wearing them:rolleyes:
