Yeah I'm not judging it, I just have these natural feelings that my expectations are too high and I'll be disappointed in the end. But actually, my expectations were high for Christmas Lights and they met them so I think it'll all work out! :D

I don't know, I think they can and will play Viva stuff again at all these festivals. I think at most, they might play one or two new things and keep the rest to the classics, a kind of mix of all four albums equally like they did at the Crisis gigs.

first time in the hype for me too, but after borderline stalking locust7, to see who the flip this coldplayninja was, (btw ur real frist name and old username are still out there...just saying since u seemed to not like that) and the hype looks SOOOOO cool! like apparently this guy leeked almost the entire album onto here before it was out.

 

and locust: if u could give us ur two cents on what theyll play this summer itd be greatly appreciated! :D thanks for the info btw!

Me too. Also it has more with this strange festivals gigs. I don't like it because I can't see a point. But Chris likes weird new things, every time they want surprise us. The Baudot code for X&Y, than Delacroix painting and ridiculous suits. LP5 will have features for sure.

Seems loads of people do, me included. Has been niggling away at me for a while. I've just got a feeling it's going to be an absolute stinker (I had the same feeling before X&Y and I was partially right :P *hides from angry mob*)

Well , but , how do you know they are hurrying it too much ?. They might have been working on this album for almost 3 years ( Maybe since the VLV tour started they have been writing songs , and getting away to the studio between every leg of the tour).

 

Plus I recall chris saying that , they can spend 10 years making an album , but in the end , they have to have a deadline (that the label puts) so they have to put it out. LIke for example , they could have spent 10 years making viva , but in the end , the label says they have to put it out .. and this is the same case , it has always been the same.

 

How Do you know they are trying to hard ? :thinking: . I mean , I would get you if they released the first single , and is kinda electro pop , and its produed by Red One ( Lady gaga's producer) and so on .. I would get they are trying to hard , but right now , i dont think we can say anything :confused:

o ya...well i dont no either but i really wanted to be like jacob in the season 5 finally when hes talking to the man in black on the beach and the man in black is like "ur still trying to prove me wrong arent u?" and jacob goes "u r wrong"...so i really just wanted to do that. if u didnt watch lost then this meant nothing to u....but watever...

 

honetly though i do think u will be wrong, i mean i dont want to soung like a blind fan again but i mean ITS COLDPLAY!!! they could be playing with 6 piano keys, 2 guitar strings, a bongo, and a rock and still make better music than most of the world. i just trust coldplay to not do something bad, i dont think theyve ever failed us in the past and i agree with approximatelyinfinite that this all just means theyre taking theyre time and being careful. only time will tell though
