Who's edited this? It says: LP6 - TBA - Released 2015.

Under MX singles: Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, Paradise, Charlie Brown, Princess Of China, Hurts Like Heaven.

Under music videos it says that all the MX single's videos are directed by Mat Whitecross.

Fake of course, but that would be my MX dreams come true. HLH. :dazzled: I love this era.

Adele, Coldplay Move Up Charts

Adele and Coldplay are again dominating the British album chart.

The charts have a familiar pattern. For the past 12 months or so, a plucky newcomer has released an album and watched it fly into the charts. The Mid-weeks may place the LP at number one, with pre-orders helping to distort the true picture.

But then the weekend comes, and Adele's army of fans rush out to the shops and send '21' back to number one. This time round, Enter Shikari were the ones getting their hopes up after being placed in pole position on the mid-week charts.

However the momentum couldn't be sustained, with 'A Flash Flood Of Colour' eventually falling back to number four. Still, this is an impressive display from the band who remain signed to Ambush Reality.

Adele naturally sits at number one, with '21' celebrating a full calendar year on the charts. Pushing back up the charts, the soulful Brit is joined by fellow fast risers Coldplay.

Chris Martin's stadium filling troops are facing a world tour in 2012, with interest in 'Mylo Xyloto' re-ignited as a result. Moving steadily up the charts, the album now sits at number three after spending 13 weeks on the countdown.

Further down the charts, The Vaccines sit at number seven while Florence & The Machine are one place behind. Just outside the Top Ten, Noel Gallagher lingers at number 12 while Kasabian are hot in his heels at number 13.

The singles chart has Jessie J sitting at number one, but as always a few anomalies bring a smile to the ClashMusic team. Etta James' tragic death seemed to bring her work into focus, with 'At Last' pushing its way back into the Top 40 - the track eventually made it to number thirty nine.

The current UK Top Ten albums are:

1. Adele - 21

2. Ed Sheeran - +

3. Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto

4. Enter Shikari - A Flash Flood Of Colour

5. Bruno Mars - Doo Wops & Hooligans

6. Beyonce - 4

7. The Vaccines - What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

8. Florence & The Machine - Ceremonials

9. Rizzle Kicks - Stereo Typical

10. Jessie J - Who Are You

Midweek Charts update: Coldplay and Adele neck and neck

The UK’s biggest band are battling with the UK’s leading solo artist to top the UK artist albums chart this weekend with just several dozen sales separating Coldplay and Adele. The UK’s biggest band are battling with the UK’s leading solo artist to top the UK artist albums chart this weekend with just several dozen sales separating Coldplay and Adele.

XL’s Adele album 21 remains in the lead in pursuit of a 21st week at number one, but Parlophone act Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto was trailing it by only around 60 sales up to the end of trading on Thursday, according to Official Charts Company figures.

Little more than 1,100 sales further behind is Atlantic act Ed Sheeran’s + in third position, while Elektra/Atlantic’s Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops & Hooligans is fourth in the week to date. Rhino’s Chris Isaak rounds off the top five with a new entry at five with Beyond The Sun, which is set to become the American’s highest-charting album in the UK since Wicked Game in 1991.

Global Talent/Polydor act Cover Drive’s newly-issued Twilight is comprehensively in charge of the singles market, being around 18,000 sales ahead up to the end of business on Thursday of closest challenger Titanium by Positiva/Virgin’s David Guetta featuring Sia. The Island/Lava Jessie J single Domino, which topped the chart for a second week last Sunday, is now third.

The full midweek singles and albums charts are on musicweek.com.
