the_escapist
This song reminds me of Chris's voice in the demos that leaked from the pre-Viva era... The song is brilliant. The boys are back!!!
carley
YES THE PIANO IS BACK! ive missed it so much! :D now im a happy little coldplayer!
apema2
I really hope the rest of the new album will be as amazing as this song. I was scared they would mess up Chris' voice, like in Major Minus, but thankfully they didn't :D
Xanderp15
I'm digging it! I initially rated it a 6 but I think I had a different expectation than what it ended up being. On 2nd and 3rd listening it is creeping up on me..starting to grow on me, like many great songs out there have on first listen. Nice track overall though and happy to have been waken up (7am here) by an ill-timed (or perfectly timed?) phone call!
Miha
OFFICIALLY BACK IN BUSINESS! MARVELOUS SONG! :D
Xanderp15
Also, after hearing this I am even more so excited about the potential for a live release (like 2003) of these songs. Major Minus is epic live and I get the feeling this would be too..along with all the other new material that they have played during their festival run! :)
Keddie
Gave it a 7.
blueyechi
I was really happy to hear this song after Major Minus disappointed me. A bunch of you have been saying that this sounds like a song from the AROBTTH era and I strongly agree. To me, the beginning in particular sounds very similar to I Bloom Blaum in that it gives off that eerie feeling
[Coldplay]Andi
Good song. Great guitar sound.
FlipBack
Gave it a 7. I'll probably wish I gave it an 8 after a few more listens. I don't like the first 30 seconds or so, Chris' voice is just too low and not clear enough, but the rest is brilliant.
Coldplaying@Hogwarts
It's like Twisted Logic, only even better... and that's pretty cool. :dazzled:/
Siriagus
I'm moving to Mars It's simple and elegant. It's Coldplay. :D Gave it a 10, because it made me move to Mars! :D
afromonkey
deep deep song it's so Coldplay when Chris start sing.. "and I heard.... and so on... " :) and ETIAW is an EP right? so sure that LP5 will be much much greater and fun :D
iluvjonnyboy
I didn't like this song, until it swelled into a beautiful, eerie, haunting melody, that actually gives you this lonely, bizarre, and sad feeling of what it would be like to be drifting away from earth, the only home you have ever known, forever. How did they manage to capture that in a song?! Incredible :nice:
Odvan
I was really happy to hear this song after Major Minus disappointed me. A bunch of you have been saying that this sounds like a song from the AROBTTH era and I strongly agree. To me, the beginning in particular sounds very similar to I Bloom Blaum in that it gives off that eerie feeling I would say beginning is similar to Fix You (the song I can't stand in original version). Also I don't think Pink Floyd classic guitar riff rip off is a good thing.
time_doesnt_matter
Back in 2008 when I listened to Viva La Vida (the song) I felt as if a whole new world opened up to me. It was an amazing feeling that I have not felt with a Coldplay song since. I just heard MTM and my eyes have been opened again. Bravo Coldplay. 9/
VikingNieku
MTM is Great! MM is good too but Chris his voice is much Better in MTM.

viva la justin
Going to take me a while to warm to it :/ I also took ages to warm to most of the tracks on AROBTTH. I'm sure I'll love it soon enough. Miles better than Teardrop in any case.
jeremyy
twisted logic and the scientist have a baby. and it is called Moving to Mars. 10 from me!
dreamorlife
Play this at Glastonbury, please ! reminds me of 42, because they said that was their first song without a verse-chorus-verse etc. form. seems they are now doing this often. Like it quit a lot :)
Odvan
Play this at Glastonbury, please ! I think they will. Actually it could be leading song/single from LP5, easily.
mycoldplaynet
Coldplay still sounds like Coldplay, yay. Awesome!
Juanma
I think they will. Actually it could be leading song/single from LP5, easily. It will not even be a single.
UrbanBuckeye33
I am a bit worried because they clearly use the melody from Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance at times (chorus) and he already sued the Red Hot Chili Peppers for copying part of this song... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUj4xfZQjqA]YouTube - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Mary Jane's Last Dance (Studio Version)[/ame] It is the chorus... Man I hope nothing happens with that because I love the song. I am sure they didn't copy it, but it is definitely similar.
