Coldplay's lyrics is for all human kind, Radiohead's lyrics are for some people only.

 

I don't think that Coldplay can ever compare with Radiohead. After watching their live show, I am somehow disappointed. But it's ok, I just waste a grand sum of money to enter the concert , but hearing flaw voice of Chris. I am not really impressed by Chris.

 

However, I am quite sad though, as I cannot meet Chris after the concert!

i don't think cp's lyrics are as direct as you're making it out to be. imo they can get quite abstract and need a few plays to fully understand.

radiohead, well i'm not a hardcore fan as some here, but from what i've heard so far, they can be quite the same as coldplay: understandable or confusing.

imo they can't be compared although it seems impossible not to :tongue:

 

as for the concert, that's a shame, i've seen them live and it was amazing, i hoped the same for everyone else. maybe next time but atleast you saw them live, not everyone gets a chance too :)

i've always thought radiohead's fan as fanatics

Radiohead is an awesome band, coldplay are more a softer less experimental version of Radiohead and I like them more for it. Except for the scientist though I can't think of another coldplay song that sounds similar to radiohead. So far with Coldplay's new album there is nothing that sounds like radiohead.

I love RH. And if you're here to start an argument, it's clearly not working. Chris has openly stated in interviews that he admires them, and wishes Coldplay were on the same level as them...Other than the time capsule (brilliant analisys of The Scientist) you're dead on, Bro. (At Ease must be slow today:wink3:.)
