Does anyone think that LP6 may be called just Coldplay?

I'm actually digging this idea.

Does anyone think that LP6 may be called just Coldplay?

Well, if the band follows their current trend, that means they would also have to make a song called Coldplay. Can't really see that happening :P

Why would they follow the trend just for the trend's sake? That's stupid.

I still think it is going to be a long title, as with the past 5 album trend (Short, Long, Short, Long, Short...)

To be honest I don't think the album being called "Coldplay" is something they would do. Like remember they always have these awesome names and also album art. "Coldplay" just doesn't fit though....

hahahaha Maybe they'll do an album title with a hashtag in front of it like Robin #THICKE

I think it would be really cool if the title was in Mandarin Chinese, and written out in Mandarin Characters. Then again I'm pretty sure they will avoid being obscure after 'Mylo Xyloto'...

And when the boys were out in Australia, they said in an interview, that they have a name for the next album and its much easier to pronounce then Mylo Xyloto. So yeah

There are thousands of words that are much easier to pronounce than Mylo Xyloto.

Haha I guess your right....

I don't think that they will call it Coldplay or use a hashtag, or at least I hope they won't do any of these ideas.

I think they will come up with an unpredictable but awesome album title, just sit and wait....

"Unpredictably Easy to Pronounce"

:smug:

What if they were to use both, a hashtag AND a self-titled LP? :lol:

LP6: #Coldplay

I don't think it fits now that I think about it. :|

"Yalpdloc" :nod:

"Yalpdloc" :nod:

Hahaha yeah, very easy to pronounce... Looks like an alien has come to earth and is trying to say hello to all us!

Lots of bands wait til well into their careeer to release a self-titled album but I really don't see Coldplay doing it.

Maybe it will Just be called 'Easier To Pronounce';p

Maybe they'll call it "Liam you can suck... the cake"

Liam's a right douche ain't he?

Well as U2 being their inspiration, U2 never did call their album "U2". Not saying coldplay then won't but just putting it out there.

And also what about a greatest hits? Do you guys reckon maybe after LP6?

Not likely. Coldplay don't seem to believe in selling fans the same songs twice. I'd like a rarities/outtakes compilation, but I wouldn't hold my breath for this Either.

He means fans that actually like Coldplay and people who have only heard Viva La Vida and Paradise on the radio (And know few if any other songs), yet exclaim they are Coldplay fans.

Don't hate me, but I have so many friends who ONLY know VLV and Paradise. My best friend disliked my music taste for years until Paradise was released. I think it's awesome that so many new people have become Coldplay fans. I'm glad that my friends are no longer haters, because Coldplay has had many of those idiots for years. The reason why it annoys me that they know those songs only, is because those are the songs that EVERYBODY knows. Even those who don't even know which band's songs those are. Coldplay is just so diverse. I have loved every decade and phase Coldplay has gone through. And them saying that shows their lack of interest in the band. I loved the VLV and MX eras and all the songs, so I welcome every new Coldplay fan to this site. Hell, I started really loving the band in the beginning of 2008, so I'm not an 'old' Coldplay fan. I have issues with this thing, but just because I'm so passionate about Coldplay. I understand that other people have other interests, and like Oracle said it's not a competition, but 'love' word is used too commonly in the english language.

P.S. I'm a she but whatever :D

Exactly. So I say we share the love instead of judging.;)

I'm not judging, but they're also not really interested in the band. I travelled with my friends to Copenhagen a year ago and trust me it was not a nice trip until I got to see Coldplay. It was actually pretty funny that when we got to our hotel Charlie Brown was playing in the background. I got super excited, but they didn't even know it was Coldplay playing. I'm glad that they supported Coldplay by coming to see them too, but the reason why they wanted to visit Copenhagen was because they mostly wanted to go to bars and stuff. I would have loved to share the hype with them, but they really weren't interested.
