foxeh
I quite enjoy Life in Technocolor, it is one of my favourite songs from its début album. It's debut Album? :inquisitive:
Samuel_94
Just because it is 2 minutes doesn't mean it wont be a powerful moving song. Expecially since its ment to be very pery and preachy, it might be something special and magical. I didnt say it wasn't going to be powerful I said I was curious to see how it turns out because it is a shorter track.
hux90
It's debut Album? :inquisitive: Don't you know your Coldplay? Viva la Vida was an amazing debut album! We can't wait to hear their follow-up... ... ;)
ColdplayingfromKansas
life in technicolor was only 2:30 and it was a powerful way to kick off the album so i think this song will be epic cant wait Plus The Escapist, which is still one of the most beautiful things ever (IMHO) And if this song has those 'luminous' lyrics then I love it already :wacky:
trinest
Don't you know your Coldplay? Viva la Vida was an amazing debut album! We can't wait to hear their follow-up... ... ;) Hey if we separate the eras there two Coldplays. Well I meant more the album it debutted on, not Coldplay- but anyway. Schröder
Something keeps telling me that this song is gonna be awesome. Btw: "Luminous" comes from Charlie Brown.
ColdplayingfromKansas
^ I keep thinking that, too :wacky: I have a feeling that this is going to be my favorite song from MX
Kiame
I'm like 99% sure UFO will have the luminous lyrics, they just fit in after Major Minus. 99% sure? :laugh3: Charlie Brown has the luminous lyrics. The last line of the song :P. "And we're so luminous and wild. We're glowing in the dark."
coldpatrix
U.F.O. will have a lot of strings... :vanish:
JackZ
In regards to luminous: 1. It is not confirmed that the lyrics in Charlie Brown actually do say luminous. 2. When people say "luminous lyrics" they mean "the two of use, we drove. A speeding ghost and a shadow, etc etc etc....".
James.
http://news.qthemusic.com/2011/10/first_impressions_of_coldplays.html Thanks to this review, we now know some of the lyrics of U.F.O. :D

juanif94
This is the new Faust Arp :smug2: I didn't know about this song. It sounds good, I can imagine U.F.O sounding like this, although I always thought it was going to be way different :P
harrisonrules
just noticed that U.F.O. (if that allmusic article is true) has the same lenght of Don't Panic! U.F.O Harking back to the title track of their debut album, U.F.O is a melancholic interlude, Chris Martin's acoustic plucks joined by the swirl of strings halfway through, resembling a more saccharine take on Radiohead's Faust Arp. The escapism-themed lyrics ("let's fly/split the sky...") explain the title, just in case you were wondering if Chris Martin was about to grow a bed and start picketing outside Area 51 with Robbie Williams. LOL awesome!
ColdplayingfromKansas
U.F.O. = Don't Panic ??? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ASDG;LRJHWRASF;DKJ :dazzled: :wacky: :wideeyed:  :vuvuzela:

Nature
if it's as good as Don't Panic then that would be epic.
getithom
Title track... = Parachutes. Thank you for pointing this out. I am still wondering besides Don't Panic is being brought up, despite having the same track length.
Mrk
^I talked about the same track lenght thing because it was just a strange coincidence :)
ColdplayingfromKansas
^ Plus, isn't this supposed to be one of the ''acoustic" songs? (along with Up In Flames and possibly UAtW and UWtB) O wait . . . apparently all of the 'U' songs are acoustic-y :P
Paulinha coldplay
They were saying that U.F.O is an interlude track, like MX, M.M.I.X and A Hopeful Transmission... Is this true? Because an idiot brazilian site heard the full album and they made a review, (a terrible review), but we can see that U.F.O isn't an interlude... Paulinha coldplay
Unfortunately, yes... But these brazilian sites are shit, so, I don't care about it... Look what they said about U.F.O: 9 - "U.F.O" It seems like "Us Against The World" and recommended for those who die in love with "Violet Hill," "Fix You" (without that final) and "Life is for living," hidden track at the end of the first album. So horrible in that it was poorly written or was teh album not well-recieved by the Brazilian site?
