August 5, 200916 yr I loooved United States of Eurasia. I'm going to buy the album the first day it comes out  I heard Bellamy said there was going to be a lot of strings, that's great. :guitarist: :D:D:D:D:D I love this album cover and all this news of lots of strings on this new album too :wacky:
August 5, 200916 yr USoE = United States Of Eurasia YouTube - United States Of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage) - Muse :D Chopin just rolled over in his grave.
August 5, 200916 yr ^^ yeah im starting to feel the same way. but muse can do better than this. i know it! i hope they do the uprising at the VMA's then go into some crazy jam (SS live style) and scare away those hip-hop-loving-mtv losers.
August 5, 200916 yr arhghghg why does this always happen. i never click more than once. oh well yay Muse :)

August 8, 200916 yr I think I like them both equally right now ........... and Carla......you changed your username from cpolio?! :D Yes.. now I'm Carla!:D
August 11, 200916 yr I really don't understand why a lot of people are disappointed with these two songs so far. I think each of them is brilliant. Uprising is a massive stadium rock song, and it gets you extremely pumped up. it sounds like they're preparing for a revolution. US of EU is brilliant I feel, yeah blah blah blah there is a Queen similarity, but the soft piano and Bellamy just softly going with an excellent build up is nice. The album is going to be amazing, i get goosebumps when i read Exogenesis: Symphony Part II (Cross Pollination) still, and with the ending with Collateral Damage, it is a way to pace yourself after the song, because it seems everybody takes it as something too hot to handle.
August 11, 200916 yr [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F22MidnAaTY]YouTube - [HD] Muse - Starlight(Abbey Road Live)[/ame] Watch in HD and will feel like having online sex with Muse.
August 11, 200916 yr ^^ hahaha about the two songs released so far. i cant stand united states of eurasia, the first couple of minutes of the song are decent but everything after that is just plain annoying. Uprising sort of reminds me of Starlight, just the feel of the song so i quite like it.
August 12, 200916 yr I can see how the ending of US of EU can get annoying, but Uprising is the better song, but i don't think people should be haters of it.
August 12, 200916 yr Here is the reason there are haters, I am a hater of these two recent songs. Its because its too similar to Black Holes and Revelations. With these two songs, I feel as if Muse has not progressed at all, but only regressed. Furthermore, Uprising and USoE are extremely over the top! Its almost too much to handle, I hate how Matt screams Eurasia! at the end of the track, its complete nonsense and ridiculous. You also can't disagree that Uprising and the B-side Easily from Starlight sound surprisingly familiar, its too radio friendly. Past Muse songs such as any on the album Origin of Symmetry or several from Showbiz didn't sound like they could fit on the radio. Can you imagine hearing the beautiful, delicate masterpiece of Unintended on the U.S. radio? Fuck no! Muse songs from the past were over the top because of the guitar solos, and falsetto of Matthew Bellamy. Now were being fed shit songs that will probably do quite well on the radio in the U.S. There is a reason Pitchfork gave United States of Eurasia a 2 out of 10! its because it is a typical Muse song guaranteed to become a live anthem. Now with these two songs Uprising and United States of Eurasia, we have a small glimpse of the new album, yet its a glimpse that I really hope is far from the truth. I don't know about you, but I want a Muse record that gives me the feeling Origin of Symmetry gives me, Over the top yes, but delicate as well. A record that creates an over the top desire to own the world and solve its problems, instead of these two tracks that beat your brain with nonsense!
August 12, 200916 yr Maybe USoE will make more sense within the context of the album. It does indeed feel strange to have a random song about the unity of continents and nations (the type of thing only Matt would be interested in ), but if Uprising is any indication, "The Resistance" seems to be about some mass coming-together to overthrow a power. I now feel pretty mixed about USoE after a few weeks, as I love the piano bits but think everything else is exaggerated.
August 12, 200916 yr The end of USOE is supposed to be funny! Matt said he sang like that on purpose in both NME mag & Zane Lowe's interview. So, it doesn't annoy me at all cuz I do find his vocals funny & I do laugh at them everytime I listen to it...it's meant to sound sarcastic & I like it! & I agree with Corkus. The album seems to be telling something as a whole. So, I'll wait till I hear it before judging whether Muse has progressed or not. @Plug_in_coldplaying: Damn, that was so good! :dead: & Chris just oozes with awesomeness on that bass!
August 12, 200916 yr lol i agree with Ab , the SIA SIA SIA etc just makes me laugh so i dont take it too seriously!
August 12, 200916 yr i didn't know it was a joke. i need to catch up on my magazine's. i've been out of them for a while. but i think the album as a whole will flow regardless, if it's radio friendly because they want US success, i can't really blame them. That always seems to happen to a band with raw sound, they don't make it in the US with their originality
August 13, 200916 yr The Resistance The new album from muse is almost here and I am really excited for it im going to get it anyone alse going to get it?
