How can anyone dislike GPASUYF, Lost or IMP?

 

I wouldn't mind if they didn't played UIF.

In My Place - As much as I love when the crowd goes "YEAHHHHHH" at the chorus, it's not their strongest song. But I can't see them dropping this one for a while, I remember Chris saying it made him want to write the whole 2nd album, so it seems it has a place in his heart.

 

Major Minus - Really not a fan of the song, and the new GPASUYF already brings the rocky edge to the show (and in a far superior way).

 

Up In Flames - Good song, but really not the best track to do live from MX, especially with DLIBYH waiting in the wings.

1: In My Place - not really a huge fan of the song, and it's getting a bit old now

 

2: Up in Flames - I like it more than I did a few months ago, but something like Til Kingdom Come would be so much nicer

 

3: Yellow - love the song, but I hate how they play it live lately - way too fast

 

I thought Lost! live was great, but didn't really go well with the balloons

Lost! can get lost :angry:

 

I don't see Up In Flames being entirely necessary with two other ballads on the setlist (Fix You and The Scientist).

 

But really they need moar songs instead of less

It's not that I dislike IMP, it's just that they always play it live, and it's come to the point where they just need to change it up a bit

They're huge songs, all seem PERFECT for a live environment. I always say that there are some songs every band has that have to be played at every show, these are Coldplay's.

^:nod: It wouldn't be the same without these songs. The Live in Sidney 2003 is soooo awesome, but I have to admit it felt like there was something missing...and then I realised it was Fix you and VLV :lol:

They should keep each and every song that's mentioned in this thread, and just EXPAND their playlist. 19 is just not enough:)

Celine, I'm pretty sure Politik will stay. Chris has said he thinks it's one of his best songs, and obviously it's so amazing live. I think they only don't play it if they're in a smaller venue as it doesn't have quite the same effect.

Its so awful live, and its completely unnecessary as an MX song, especially since they havn't played DLIBYH yet (srsly wtf!?)

 

And as for In My Place, GPAS and Lost! I think they are all great songs and they should be kept in the setlist, but the order should be mixed around a little. Hearing the same songs in the same order everytime gets a little boring :(
