Real or Fake? Song leak?

What is your opinion on this?

What makes me lean towards real is at around 2:49, I can hear what sounds like Chris saying "It's good".

Fake all the way. I've heard the song btw, it's just one of the few that had been rolling around for a few years now.

Faker than fake can be, I think! Just sounds like someone trying to sing like Chris, but it's too nasal to be Chris himself I think!

I'm also pretty sure this was around before MX leaked as well?

Alright mates, just wanted to make sure. It's a nice song either way. I can feel some new material around the corner.

You could ask the Oracle about this, he/she successfully disproved the last 'leak'.

No need to ask a question about it, it's definitely fake.

Oh, it's this song again! :laugh3:

It almost sounds like Chris, but the voice is kinda... too strained. Like he has some trouble with his throat or something :shifty: That's why I think it's not him.

Well whatever, it's still somehow nice to listen to

Sorry but in reality, this guy sounds just as nasally and strained as Chris does.

He does sound different, but not necessarily better or worse.

I WANNA KNOW WHO HE IS so that I can go creep on him :wacky:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's fake, but it stills sounds an awful lot like Chris and something that he'd put out. Maybe more akin to the Parachutes era? But hey, I would love to hear something like this show up on LP6!

Weird, sounds absolutely like Chris to me. If it's not him, he has an identical voice twin somewhere in this world. :) Same intonations, same timbre.

By the way, nice song, whoever wrote that.

It sounds like Chris to me. No impersonator is that spot on. Listen to the way he pronounces the word "good." That's all Chris. I do not think the song is new, however.

That's Chris singing, I'm sure. Also sounds like his piano playing. I'm fairly confident it's Chris singing, sounds like him and has a lot of his traits.

1:20 - 1:40, if that's not Chris I will eat my foot. Struggling to see how people could not think this is Chris, just people are sceptical.

Doesn't mean we know it's new, it could be really old. Can't see this song being on the album, imagine it to be released like a Moving To Mars type track if they ever do/it's real/it's not 6 years old.

No need to ask a question about it, it's definitely fake.

How come definitely?

Btw, this song is actually pretty good, very eery, it's cool.

Imagine Jonny's old style long haunting guitar notes over it, Guy's sparse spread out bass notes, and tingling cymbal and snare from Will.

I can see this being the kind of route Coldplay take, less production then last 2 albums, still a little production and electronic type thingys though.

Wow, getting ahead of myself there.

Good luck with eating your foot

It is a pretty good Coldplayish song and the guy who is singing would definitly win a 'sound like Chris Martin compition' but it's not Chris. You can hear it at 0:50 - 1:00, compare that low voice to the low voice of Yes.

Good luck with eating your foot

Thanks, goes quite nice really with my humble pie
