Damn, i'm really excited for this. Awesome monday morning news. Magic sounds pretty solid and i like the general sound of Midnight so i'm really looking forward to this album.

But i'm not really into the album cover. I think they could have done better with that.

And those iTunes songs are just promo song or previews. Many artists do it now. It's a great strategy of get more sales.

They also don't have a title song for this album! Wow so much is different this time around. I'm going to have to get used to it pretty quickly...I'm going to attempt to go to bed right now, but tomorrow after school I'll be all over these forums. I can't take it right now. It's Mighnight (hehe see what I did there ;) ) right now and I can't go to bed. Usually by now I'm so tired I have to go to sleep.

Knowing the crypticness of Coldplay, I'm willing to bet my money that the stars on the album cover form a constellation or two.

Interesting how 'Midnight' is on the album yet not released on itunes but still heard before 'magic'. Wonder why they did that and not just release 'midnight' as like a 4th/5th single just for the video and not care about how much it would sell.... anybody else find 'magic' a tad underwhleming

Oh awesome the forum is back, and Coldplay magic and ghost stories. Surprised about those names because they had been thrown around previously, were as the MX era was a suprise in terms of names. I hope there is a collectors editions this time around.

The first things I thought: I like the album name! But I'm not sure about the song names, they don't sound very coldplayish. And just 9 songs? Then I'm better knowing now that there will be 3 bonus tracks, so it will be a total of 12, maybe more. BUT, WHAT I THOUGHT OVERALL: WHERE'S THE COLOR NAME SONG? AND ALSO: WHERE'S THE SONG TITLED LIKE THE ALBUM? WHERE'S GHOST STORIES?! HAVEN'T ANYBODY THOUGHT ABOUT THAT???

I wonder why it's called "Ghost Stories" ? :D
