January 10, 201610 yr Author I like Lovers in japan but I think the production is not really good. To my ears this song always sounds a bit muffled and not as clear as the other tracks on Viva.

January 10, 201610 yr More like a cross between Mylo and Viva IMO. But it's understandable as this was one of the last songs written for the album... they were very much crossing into Mylo at this point...

January 10, 201610 yr If that's the interpretation I am all for it, but I'm not sure that's what they meant.... Thats certainly how I always interpreted it. Also because it comes after "lovers". To me its always meant soldiering through anything hard in your life..we are a soldier in life too sometimes even if we bear no firearm :)
