In the rush of adventures (2xFrankfurt, Hamburg...) of the past few days I almost forgot, but there is the B-sides repeat listening party tomorrow/today (July 8)!

Unfortunately the time poll didn't work out too well. Any suggestions what we should do ?

Alright everybody. First of all, I would like to apologize for the fact that there was no Listening Party in the last time, which is mostly due to my forgetfulness and inherent tendency to erratic planning :joy:

 

Let's pick this up right where we left it off. We wanted to listen once more to the Complete B-Sides Playlist, and we should aim to find a time and date in August for that. Please vote in the poll below - I promise I won't forget this time. I won't let you down, no (yeah I will, yeah I will, yes I will...)

 

For the first time ever, we have a combined Time + Date poll, by the way ! Hope that makes it easier. Timezone is by default CET, but it should actually adapt to your own timezone, check in the upper right corner.

I know the poll isn't great, it would be better if Doodle would display it as a time against days grid and not like that ! But I wanted to try something different than our usual first day, then time method because some people I think find it hard to tell the day when they cannot vote the time as well...anyway, keep voting everyone !

Do it, it's worth it. Two hours of listening to Coldplay music together and having fun as well as sometimes geeky discussions :)

How is this listening party organized though? Because everyone would have to be listening to the playlist at the same time...

I could propose maybe doing a youtube livestream. That way everyone is listening to the same thing at the same time and then there's also a live chat right there.

I would be able to do that but then again I'm not sure how it would work out with the copyright policies of youtube...

Don't worry, we have been doing these parties since last year and it works ;)

Everyone just starts playing the file at the same moment (we sync using time.gov) and we post our comments in the thread here.
