tEx
^^Actually it is different. If you have a chance read that review, its completely re-mastered under the direction of Johnny Marr.........should be good.

Guest howyousawtheworld
The Smiths - Favourite Song It's questionable why this great band don't get the praise on this site compared to other bands who don't have the legacy of Moz and the lads. A revolutionary band of the 80s and to be fair Morrissey's solo career is only successful because of everyones fascination with this great band. We all have our favourite Smith's songs and mine is no doubt "There is a Light That Never Goes Out". Generally ragarded as one of the greatest songs ever. Check it out if you somehow haven't heard it. girl_in_the_band_tshirt
that's an amazing song (: i'd place it in my top five, along with 'shelia take a bow' 'what difference does it make' 'half a person' and 'stop me if you think you've heard this one before'. love the smiths :nice:

bjaiken
I am a big Smith's fan. I would love to list a bunch of songs, but if it's only one, then it has to be "There is a light that never goes out".

bjaiken
Ahh, the Smiths! Been listening to them a lot recently. Whenever they work their way back into my rotation, I always have to field the "is everything alright" questions. Yep, all is cool. I'm very well-adjusted, but it is relaxing to be melancholy on occasion. Been listening to The Queen is Dead a lot. No song is better than "There is a Light..." IMO, but I really dig "I Know It's Over". Oh Morrissey, you sad little chap. Good stuff.
